    The Absent Dad

Just charming. And on a logical note, I don't think those aborting children (and who have none) are complaining about men not being good fathers, unless their own fathers were not good. When you blame others for your own mistakes it only relates what kind of person you are. Those who would be...

    The Absent Dad

Just wonderful :nono2. Fortunately my dad is not like yours and I never had to wonder that my mum was an equal. An equal in worth, and equal in respect and equally deserving of my love :). They have treated me and my sister very well and pushed us to be all we could be. The relationship you...

Is it better to be single forever?

It's far better to stay single than to marry someone who does not love or respect you.

    Perspectives on Age Difference

If the two parties are consenting adults then no. More important are the ideals/goals each share. If you want children and are interested in dating an older woman you'd have to think about adoption. Couples may have to consider generational differences and whether they can deal with them.

    Working In Groups

You do realise that there are jobs in research that require the ability not just to "play nice" but to utilise each members skill to make the most of your topic of study? You have to hear new thoughts/ideas and new ways of doing things. You and your team-mates but decide on the best...

    Working In Groups

I used too but after a term and a half now doing lab sometimes in pairs or in groups I've realised there is a lot to gain from it. I don't know what you study but working with others to complete an experiment and solve difficult problems also opens your mind to so many things you may not have...

Are Women Drivers Safer Than Men ?

Well at my age women drivers do seem a lot safer than male ones. I think they tend to take more risks and want to speed. I especially love my dad's driving; we term it roller-coaster.

    Un-Christian careers depend on gender?

Simple, only the deepest love will induce me into matrimony. :) That and I have not met anyone I would like to marry and from my experiences I figure someone I would like would be a very rare person. Hey I accept your apology. You are entitled to your opinion. I however did not have a stay at...

    Un-Christian careers depend on gender?

lol you know me? Probably not likely if opinion is anything to go by. And children.. well one must be able to have them. Also science and relationships.. well many scientists made there work first priority over a spouse and I would never want to do that. I sincerely doubt I will meet someone to...

    Un-Christian careers depend on gender?

Yes I have. I guess I should not have been so surprised by the statement anyway. Its only that I have been raised far differently.

    Un-Christian careers depend on gender?

Hello Mike, perhaps I should mention that I am not married and there is no guarantee I will or even should find someone to marry. That may not be God's plan for me, who knows? And I should hope if I did marry that my husband would play a great part also in our children's lives. Both my parents...

    Un-Christian careers depend on gender?

Hello Pizza guy, No, I quite recall he was precise and if he meant that he did not express it as such. That is why it made me want to ask here. He said the home was the only place for a woman and that was where all their desires should be. I'm not sure about having it "all" as it called...

    Un-Christian careers depend on gender?

Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to this forum and wanted here some opinions on this: In college I shared with another Christian my passion to be a physicist, explore one of the many wonders of our universe. He basically said that a Christian woman should wish to have a home, family husband...

The Christian Woman & Her Wardrobe

I think it is very sad how the Muslims "keep" there women covered. I spent a year in the middle east. Past all common sense some of these ladies are treated like chattel and worse can even develop a lack of vitamin D. My sister still has to take vitamin D tablets. And why decide past the...

Not really since many Christians hold different opinions.

No the sexism comes when you impose rules on others. For example preventing a woman from doing a job she is good at because you feel only men should do it is sexism. And science proves more and more that when girls are expected to succeed they do better. If I was born in a different period I'd...

What else do women find attractive?

I'm not into overinflated egos but maybe average is not the right word :)

What else do women find attractive?

Every girl is different. Be the man you want to be and there will be a woman who is attracted to that. Me: I'm not too into big n buff but I'd love a big brain and an average ego :)

    Liberal/Conservative

Probably liberal but it depends what you are defining as liberal. Generally I don't appreciate tradition over progression and believe in basic freedoms for everyone as long as it doesn't infringe on the freedoms of others. I may even be slightly anarchist.
