He seems to have a problem with the fact I pointed out that his false application of scripture was him contradicting scripture, not scripture contradicting scripture. He should have been humbled like Peter was when confronted by Paul and accepted his admonishment.Obviously @D-D-W believes that the scriptures do not lie or contradict. He has no "problem with that", so I'd think it would be offensive for you to accuse him of having a problem with that.
Galatians 2:
Paul Opposes Peter
11But when Cephas (ROCK) came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. 12For before certain men came from James, he was eating with the Gentiles; but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing the circumcision party.(That is too true about the Messianic. Instead of aligning with Truth they align with non-truth ). 13And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy. 14But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, “If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”
All men must live like Christ and to accomplish that, it is not getting caught up in Jew works -which are not faith and works, they are one as God is One. Jew works are of the 'old man'- flesh. That is not the circumcision of the heart and spirit.
