“He went and preached to the spirits in prison”

No need. You have not offended me, brother :)

My question is this: What exactly are my claims? Can you give just one example of my claims? What did I claim?
That "these dead people" were the "spirits in prison". If that is not so, I totally misunderstood your "options", choices of who "these dead people" (=spirits in prison) might be.

Please restate what your 7 choices were meant to be, if I misunderstood.

I did not make any claims, at least not any strong ones. I merely presented other people's opinions and then concluded with my own opinion. Please read my post again.
Upon rereading it, that's what you did. Still, my reply gave good reasons why none of those identifications are correct.

So, what do you think, who are the spirits in prison?

Option #6 and #7
Please bold font or copy paste the precise wording of Peter that points to :
  1. to the general dead. Some to heaven; others to hell.
  2. to a selected (or elected) group of dead people who never heard of the gospel when alive but would believe it if they heard it.
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

(1 Pet. 3:18-22 KJV)

Again, please read my post. They are there.
I identify who the spirits in prison are using "Sherlock Holmes" like detective induction, on the facts given in the text and Scripture in general.

I'm not interested in theories unrelated to Peter's words. Perhaps others want to discuss the "suggested... options", I already ruled them out as impossible, or unlikely.

Did you do it by First-Order Logic?
You asked me to reread your posts. But you haven't read mine? And I put lots of effort explaining precisely why I rejected your "suggestions". Why don't you check out the "logic" I gave, and respond to it. If you don't want to respond to what I write, why question me further?

The difference is this: I did not make any claims. You did. Can you prove your claim by FOL? If not what kind of logic did you use? Are you not jumping to conclusions?

Our conversation is done. I put in a LOT of work explaining who the spirits in prison are, which is the subject of this thread. You don't want to respond, good. Have a nice day.

I have zero interest in your claims unsupported by scripture exegesis.

Please, tell me: What did I claim? Please quote my words to support your claim that I have made claims.

Could we discuss the 7 spiritual spirits of Isaiah. This would sort of define some of the people. Certain people would tend to fit into a lifestyle of a particular spirit like (Understanding? Example). Not Holy Spirit but a good spirit none the less.

Those people would enter death as having had understanding in life. Probably qualify them for Abraham’s Bosom rather than being in Torment area. I tend toward thinking those in Abraham’s Bosom for sure were hearers.

Say it your way.

"7 spiritual spirits of Isaiah"??? Scripture reference is needed, I don't have a clue what you mean.
