12-12-12

Today is 12-12-12. Today is 12th December 2012 or December 12th, 2012. They say something usually happens in the Spiritual Realm on these kind of days (same figue days).

Today is indeed a special day. Why? 'cause there's no 13th month of the year. We have 1-1-1, 2-2-2......11-11-11 and 12-12-12. No 13-13-13:D

Classik, in 2112 ,if the world is still here, it will again be 12-12-12.
I was kinda hoping to post something right at 12:12:12 on 12-12-12..then I got distracted by my life lol.
Blessings

sorry for the distraction. What were you thinking...:D

My sister's gone home to pray, probably. Mom told me there's nothing Spiritual about it...just that it is a unique number.:lol

I think the complete number is 12-12-12-12-12-12 eqaul to: dec 12th, 2012 ...12th second of the 12th minute of the 12th hour

12th second of the 12th minute of the 12th hour of the 12th day of the 12th month of the 2012th year.:lol. (Maybe the 12 century of the 12th millenium will come later:lol)

Well, one thing that may occur today is the birth of my fifth child. Wife is being induced today.

Not really a special number as there are lots of repeating combinations.

Next month, for example will be 1-3-13 (can be pronounced 1-3-1-3)

Here's some other interesting calendar trivia I was into lately:

Last year I mentioned Jeroboam's Halloween on 11-11-11. Actually it was on the 12th of November, but the day starts at sundown just like Halloween starts at Oct 31--- those dancing skeletons in the cemetery stories were heard as kids took place early morning November 1, not October 31 :lol (i.e. from a sundown start-of-day perspective, Halloween day is really November 1, technically because it is the evening thus "eve" of All Hallows Day).

And....... for all here who are mostly wet behind the ears yet. I was correct when I said that for the last 37 years I remember December 24th, not December 21st being mentioned in the Chariots of the Gods movie I saw back in 1975. However,I got the year wrong. It was December 24, 2011 when "they" :o were supposed to return, and I confused that date with the "end of the world" date of 12/21/12 since they both came from the Mayan calendar and were close together. However, I doubt if anyone under age 40 remembers the 12/24 date unless they watched the movie, but years back that was thrown around more.

Also, on 12/3/12 was an interesting event (the numbers were not as nice as 12/12/12, but), Mercury, Venus and Saturn aligned up in an slightly offset line such that looking at them in the sky mimicked the exact same placement of the Egyptian pyramids. I bet we all missed that one! (I almost did) :bigcry

Interesting:)

I'm going to start the "December 24th" thread. This got my curiosity going now how many old-timers are out there that remember this date.

I remember every year it has happened since I can remember they started happening.

Well, this thread is in history like everything else. But on another forum I heard that more people sought to get married on 12/12/12 than any other date. I guess the husbands then don't have an excuse to their wives that they forgot their anniversary. :lol

BTW I guess folks saw my 12/24 thread, but it has to do with reminiscing an earlier doomsday date, not about doomsday per se. That date is already in the past as well.

Only 12/21/12 is future yet (but not for long) and I heard another date January 11, 2013 using the same Mayan calendar.
