A Literal Interpretation

Because i take Gen 1-3 as being literal and comlete, my list of suspects who could have caused the woman to believe that she was forbidden by GOD from touching the fruit, as well as from eating it, and that the 'forbidden' tree was the only tree in the center of the Garden, when in fact there are two, is very short, even one: and that is Adam. By the scriptures, Adam was the only one to whom GOD spoke the Commandment, and, since he was the one responsible for the Garden and all its trees, he was responsible to tell Eve the Commandment. Thus, Adam is the only one who could have used subtlety to deceive Eve, because he told her a perverted commandment from the very Beginning, even the one she repeated to the serpent, who is Adam (not a snake, for this is myth), and she believed him because she had no reason not to. Is it possible to deceive someone who knows and believes the TRUTH? Then, Eve being deceived is the proof she never knew the Absolute TRUTH - Don't Eat: and Adam is to blame. Even further, she did not know the name of the 'forbidden' tree.

This is why Adam was beside her when she picked and ate the fruit, but he made no attempt to stop her. And why the Lord God seeming condemned the serpent wihtout a trial, since he was Adam, and adam was already tried. And this is why Mary had to be a virgin, because the serpent's seed was exclude in the Savior, which excluded the man. And this is why we born after the 'Fall' are born under the curse of sin, because it is the curse upon the serpent and his seed (many). And this is why all men are liars, because the devil (Adam ) is the father of the lie and the liar.

And the reason Adam told Eve that GOD said don't touch, was so he might convince her to eat, were he to touch it first! Especially after she said that touching was a sure death, and, after she finally saw that the forbidden tree and its fruit were pleasant to the eyes, and learned that it was a tree for wisdom (which implies she did not know its name, else this would not be new to her ears). How subtle is that.

For those who accept GOD at HIS WORD, and don't add to, nor dimish form, this is all you have, really. How simple, and before us all the time.

Adam was not the snake, and the snake was not a myth. The snake was Satan, and I would say a Satan very recently booted out of heaven for leading a rebellion against God. His recourse, having lost the heavenly battle, was to attempt to undermine God's creation. Adam was in sin, indeed, for failing to properly instruct his wife. But Adam was not the snake. Period.

Two problems you have: 1) Is 28:11, you don't understand this prophesy.
2) you have no single, trustworthy source of TRUTH; instead,
you lean on your own understanding taken from multiple
sources of so-called truth.

As such, i do not think you will ever come to the knowledge of the TRUTH, but i hope you will someday.

The Oral Torah is not needed. In fact it's those teachings, interpetaions and tradititons that took the Jews away from God.

While understanding the original Hebrew in which Genesis was written is helpful, it is not necessary to discern the meaning of scripture. Because as the Hebrew is man's original "written" documentation of Godly events, one must ask the question how did God speak to the author of Genesis? How does that relate to how God speaks to any of us?

the first accountable sin was eating the 'forbidden' fruit (not touching it as Eve spoke), because therre was only One Law - The Commandment fiven to Adam; however, the first sinful act was the decpetion of Eve, whihc was accomplished by a lie told her, which lie she believed. Is not being deceived mean you believe a lie? No! it is believing a lie; therefore, since Eve was deceived before she ate, the the truly first sinful act was the telling of a lie, even though there was no law given not to. But, since the was no law, God could make Adam account for telling one. But , He could make Adam account for 'killing' Eve spiritually.
