I have ask that we stop all the personal attacks or I would lock this topic. Since then a few more have joined in the mud slinging.
I can see that this topic is not benefitting anyone, least of all God!

Sola Scriptura is not found in the bible, you wanna show me otherwise?

Go for it Gary... show me I'm wrong.

Well, I'm not Gary, but let me point to 2 Tim 3:16

"All Scripture is given by the inspiarion of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for instruction in righteousness."

While this doesn't support Sola Scriptura per se, it does define what the Bible is supposed to used for rather well.

Thank you for admitting this scripture does not support sola scriptura. Now if you have noticed I have no problem rebutting anything you guys bring up WITH SCRIPTURE. Your post is pointless because we Catholic do see scripture as of the hightest authority.

By the way, is scripture the sole rule of faith such that if it's not in the bible then "I don't believe it" or is scripture the hightest authority such that if something is not specifically in scrpiture I can still use it if it does not contradict scripture. In other words will the real infallible scriptural definition (that is not anywhere in scripture) of SS please stand up.

Blessings

All this proves is that you won't submit to the authority of scripture.
Incredible reasoning :o

Would you mind defining this "scripture" you keep referring to?

1. Where is this "scripture" you keep referring to?
2. Can you put your hands on it?
3. Are there any errors in this "scripture" you keep referring to?

Huh? It's called the Bible. Of course you only have about 90% of it. And yes there are errors in yours.

What makes you think I might think there are errors in scripture. Actually do you believe that all English translations are error free. How can this be since there is no infallibility among men since the last apostle died?

What's getting out of hand. All I see on this thread is Protestants are getting what they dish out and are having trouble listening to it. Catholics are making arguements against your pet doctrine and you don't like it. Your doctrine of the devils SS is unbiblical.
