What scripture is God everywhere? Did not the Holy Spirit come on the Kings and prophets of old. Those without hope, without God, is God also there with them? Did the Lord not go down to see if the cry of sin matched the sin in Sodom? Did He not look at Babbel?
Num 14:43 For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you.
More scripture, less religion.
We don't know everything, so it's a safe bet to push this idea on folks.
Mat 24:46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Run the race set before you, do all that He said do, and with all your heart be purpose minded in the things the Lord has planed for you.
Blessings.
Mike.
Thanks Mike for that humble reply. I don't have all the answers either. Hey, all we can do is study carefully Revelation. If the Holy Spirit doesn't give revelation, we are stuck with our own interpretation, and that's not very reliable. One thing I know, Jesus is going to gather up His beloved Believers. And, He's coming back. If I die before He comes, I'm going where He is right now. What scripture is God everywhere? Did not the Holy Spirit come on the Kings and prophets of old. But no more than you did. I'm wondering if you even hear yourself Chopper. You see group 1 as being super great, while you listed groups 2 and 3 as the losers. On the other hand I saw some from group 2 as being humble and following the Lord. So I guess if you saw your other two groups as losers, then I guess for the sake of consistency in your terminology, then I saw groups 1 & 3 as being losers. But again. YOU are the one that SEES them as LOSERS. You are projecting your sight in your conclusions of my thoughts, and yet you only know what I said about groups 1 & 2. But what I said about group 3, I guess shall remain a mystery to you. But I'm wondering, why do you see these church goers as losers? Is it because someones been telling you that the devil dwells internally in us because we have been found with evil internal to us? Because if Satan dwells in each of us, then yea, we are all losers.

May the favor of God be with and on you Brother.
"What scripture is God everywhere? "
Here's one place that i can think of Mike..
Psalm 139:7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
One of my favorite passages...
The only restraint from stopping iniquity and the Son of perdition operating at full throttle is the restraint on earth now. The light of the World, the anointed, the body of Christ. Where iniquity abounds, Grace does abound more, until the body of the anointed is removed and the son of perdition revealed. We won't be here when those angels sound their sound, the vials released on earth. Not sure that it would be called mid tribulation, but most definitely before God trashes the earth. Some call that pre-wrath.
The whole thing in that chapter starts off.........
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
(2Th 2:1)
I agree.. and I also think it likely to be pre wrath.. but I figure the voice and influence of the body of Christ could be removed violently.. which is not God's wrath, but satan's etc..
A also think God's wrath, for the most part is the consequences of man's own doings.. Even the fire He returns in - "He returns in fire and with His angels.." 2 Thessalonians 1:7,8
..Just my 2 cents.. and thoughts, God bless..

Now a lot of So called Churches are not Churches, but His real Church doing His will and many will start to come together and get things right toward the end.
I only quickly looked at this post and have not read all the responses. I would just like to make a quick comment based on my opinion. After The Rapture – All The Pigs Vanish
After the rapture, when Jesus comes for all of his believers just before the God's final judgment of mankind in the Great Tribulation, there will be only two types of people left – Jew and Muslim.
In order to make sense of the disappearance of all the Christians, Jewish and Muslim religious leaders will look to the New Testament for possible explanations whereby they will find incidents between Jesus Christ and the gentiles (hint: those forbidden pigs).
In one story Jesus confronts two possessed men in a graveyard (Matthew 8:28-34 , Mark 5:1-17, Luke 8:26-37). Jesus Christ exorcises the demons from the two men by casting the demons into a herd of pigs whereby the herd of pigs then leap off a cliff and disappear into a body of water. The pigs disappearing into the water will be used by Muslim and Jewish religious leaders to represent the rapture whereby God uses the rapture to eradicate all the pigs (hint: Christians/gentiles) to prepare those left behind for the arrival of the true messiah.
The rapture will be explained as God casting all the demons from the land of Israel by placing them inside Christians and then having all of the Christians simply disappear.
The whole story will be used as an example of God purifying the Jewish people to prepare them for the arrival of the messiah. They will highlight the fact that an entire herd of pigs (Hint: Christians) simply vanish (hint: rapture) leaving the two men (hint: Jew and Muslim) to prepare for the arrival of the true messiah.
In another story Jesus told the parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32) where a son demands his inheritance and then leaves for the gentile world, whereby he squanders all of his money and is ultimately left caring for pigs and eating their food to survive. It is interesting that the prodigal son goes to a gentile land that harbors pigs (hint: the United States?) which are forbidden in Mosaic law.
After the rapture there will be great distress and shortages of food. The Jewish religious leaders will use the parable of the prodigal son as the call for all Jews to leave the gentile land (hint: that harbors pigs) and return to Israel.
In the parable the father doesn't set out to search for his wayward son, nor does he send anyone else to retrieve his wayward son. Instead it is left to the son (hint: Jews in foreign lands) to return to Israel to prepare for the arrival of the messiah and enjoy the feast that the Father will prepare for them in Israel (hint: rebuilding the temple).
After the rapture it will be a time of great upheaval where people will seek erroneous explanations that will calm their fears of God's impending final judgment of mankind. Be prepared for the rapture where Jesus Christ will come for all of his believers so they will not be part of the mass confusion and distress of God's final judgment.
Believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (hint: get baptized) and rest assured that you'll be part of the rapture where you will be reunited with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit in heaven forever.
God Bless
It is our view that the marriage supper of the Lamb takes place in heaven between the rapture and the second coming (during the tribulation on earth).
Yes, we will be caught up in the air with Him, together with the resurrected ones, or "dead in Christ". Like my Grandparents and other Christians that have died and will be resurrected at this time. The resurrection/rapture is one event that occurs at His coming.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:17
The raptured ones are caught up together with the resurrected ones.
This is when all those who are Christ's will be gathered together, to be with the Lord, at His coming.

Yes, it will take a great tribulation for the Church to come together and get things right.
The scriptures calls this "getting things right", washing our robes and making them white, in the blood of the Lamb.
13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”
14 And I said to him, “Sir, you know.” So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7:13-14

Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
(Rev 3:10-11)
Those that keep the Word in Patience, Jesus said I come, you escape that which is coming on the whole earth. There are many hopefully that make it after this as you pointed out in Rev chapter 7.
The antichrist will not be revealed until the beginning of the tribulation. When Christ returns at the end of this seven years, His bride will be with Him.Here is what that looks like:
13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:13-17
Notice that this takes place on earth.
All of those who are Christ's, will be gathered together to meet the Lord in the air, at His coming.
None of His people will be left on earth.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
The resurrected ones will rise first, then the raptured ones will be caught up together with them.
Resurrection/Rapture is one event, whereby all His people will be caught up together, to be with the Lord, at His coming.
The brightness of this coming will destroy the antichrist.
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:8
The resurrection/rapture and the destruction of the antichrist occurs, at His coming.
