moses did not kill anyone? are you sure? what about the egyptian? and please tell me, did moses and joshua never go to war
you have not answered the rest of the questions, why?
let me answer them for you:
'tell me, what are the laws of the OT?'
Gen 9:6
Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
and eye for an eye. which part of this law did Muhammed not follow?
'tell me, what are the laws of the NT concerning adultery? '
jesus said:
Matthew 19:9 "I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery.
Deuteronomy 22:22 "If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die."
pease remember:
"Do not think that I [Jesus] have come to abolish the Law (the Old Testament) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke or a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law (the Old Testament) until everything is accomplished. (Matthew 5:17-18)"
now tell me, which part of the law did Muhammed not follow?
After Moses met God in the burning bush, he never killed anyone! please read your bible. Pharoah made war against Moses and God allowed them to be swallowed up in the sea. Then Moses spent the rest of his life in the wilderness.
You, as usual, completely understand what Jesus means by fulfilling the law. Jesus fulfilled the law
for us, which means we now come to him to obey it instead of trying to do it on our own. Jesus became the sinless sacrifice and atonement for all of our sins. Since he satisfied the requirements of the law through his death
for us by dying for our sins, we are no longer under the OT law. It has already been fufilled. Love conquers all.
Jesus said, "You have seen it written, 'an eye for an eye.' Yet I tell you to love your enemies. Do good to those who persecute you." The OT shows us what justice is. The NT testament shows us what mercy is. Mercy triumphs over justice. So the law will
always be true. But now, God repays evil for evil, not us. The OT was written simply to show us what the Law is and that we all deserve death. The NT shows God's grace and mercy to all who come to him for rest.
And that is why love is the fulfillment of the law. Knowing that we have been forgiven we can forgive our neighbor, which keeps us from committing murder against him, adultery against him, stealing from him, lying about him, coveting any of his possessions, and enables us to honor our parents, and God above all.
