An interesting thought

Obedience is better than sacrifice.

Look at all these people at the Judgment who took false comfort in their service instead of the obedience of faith God requires:

22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord,Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.' (Matthew 7:22-23 NASB capitals in original)

This is an especially 'evangelical' problem. We often see lot's of commitment to ministry service, but little to none to the obedience of faith (the fruit of the Spirit).

Yes, I couldn't agree more.

A life wasted on the fleshly ordinances that were found in the law of Moses, as well as observing feast days, and legal Sabbath requirements, and thinking they were "Torah Observant", when they never obeyed His Voice nor obtained the righteousness that is accredited to those who walk in the obedience of faith.

Okay, good. Then you agree we should outlaw witnessing too, then, right?
The Spirit does not lead people to keep the law of Moses, but to spread the Gospel.

Knowing this truth will set you free from trying to keep the law of Moses.

Outlaw witnessing?

Does the scripture say the Gospel is:

Obsolete?
Nailed to the cross?
Taken out of the way?
Vanished away?

Because that's what the scriptures says about the law of Moses.

As many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.

If you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

What did you agree with me about then, JLB?
Yes, I couldn't agree more.

You've been contradicting yourself a lot lately. :lol
Can you come back from this bunny trail grudge you're holding about the law of Moses and stay on topic and somehow weave whatever point you're trying to make into the OP?

And the topic is?
What would you say to a letter like this?

I'm not a Christian, but I have a friends who are, and the other day they were telling me me , the Bible says hat grace means that I don't have to do anything to get saved. and don't have to do anything after I'm saved either. Is that for real?. It left me dumbfounded and blown away! That sounds like my kind of religion! Could this be true?

:topic

Well John 3:16 says we have to call out to or ask.....that sounds like something you have to do.
Crucify your flesh...renew your mind....build up your faith.....
To me the O.P way would be trying to take advantage of God's Grace and saying hey it's cool just live as you please and God saved ya..... Ummmmmm I really don't think that would fly, do you ?

This reminded me of picking up our crosses daily, too, whatever that cross might be, and seeking His face.
