Anti christ

I was reading Daniel this morning and realized the very end about the anti christ says he will be waring with the nations around him. But revelations makes it sound as if everyone will worship him or else die basically.
What do you know about this?

Please cite what you were reading so we can look at it too.

All I know is that End Times stuff hurts my brain. I know, that's not very helpful, but it does! :gavel
It's intentional by God to be vague.

It, like other prophecy, is bad, personal news...but the end result is God with us.

But in the meantime God didn't want the Roman Empire discovering the Americas. Nor did He want someone or groups of someones to try and thwart what must come or try to profit from it all.

Boy, then He missed that one by a mile! I would love to have even 1/10 of 1% of the money that has been made off of the peddling of "End Time Prediction" books and movies in the past 40 years. (And I am pretty sure Christopher Columbus was Italian ..... isn't Rome in Italy?)

Yes JDB, I assumed you were just making a sarcastic, facitious joke.

There's always going to be profits of god....

But all of them have been proven to be false.

From the Millerites to the Jehovah Witness (who said God was returning in the 80's)

In fact Fox News is predicting a Rapture for the 23rd of this month.

We are 2,000 years closer than we were when this prophecy was given.

The Bible never defines just one Antichrist, but says even now there are many, 1 John 2:18. We have to remember that Satan is a created spirit and needs to work through others in order to build his literal kingdom here on earth. This will be a Luciferian political, economic and a religious power that will sit upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north which is Jerusalem and cause the greatest falling away from truth, which is an abomination of desolation unlike any other.

Jesus said those who will endure in the faith of Christ unto the end the same shall be saved, Matthew 24:13. Satan said, I will ascend into heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God (other ruling powers) I will sit also upon the Mount of the Congregation in the sides of the north (Jerusalem). I will ascend above the clouds, I will be like the Most High, Isaiah 14:12-15.

2Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

The last antichrist, (as there have been many and even now are in the world), is the son of perdition being the false prophet that Satan works through as he will sit on the sides of the North declaring himself as being God and will cause many to bow down to him and take his mark as many will believe the lying signs and wonders he will show, Rev 13. Again, nowhere in scripture does it capitalize antichrist, but mans misinterpretations capitalize it and makes it one Antichrist.

^Ok, well I think we all are referring to the anti christ that causes the abomination of desolation. That's typically what people think when we say. 'The antichrist.' True. If you dont know what the bible says, then you would get confused if people talked about some other antichrist around. But in the pool of bible knowing believers saying 'the antichrist' is normally recognized immediately, but true I am not been technically wordy correct. ( no, wordy is not a real word, I know) or it wasn't used properly here.
But my point is everybody says that so it is immediately recognized by most.
I think putting 'the' in front makes the distinction instead of 'an' antichrist.

Peoples minds runs crazy on scripture. One I find amazing is the mark of the beast that everyone goes on about, but its not just a mark, only some have the mark.

"save he that had the mark, OR the name of the beast, OR the number of his name."

But no one seems to talk about having the name or the number, its always the mark of the beast.

no body fully understands the mark of the beast some think it has took place already .. we just dont know

Maybe because it could be symbolic. To have the mark, the number, or the name, doesn't seem to be literal at all, just like the rest of the book, unless people think locusts have human faces and a great city has breasts.

i dont discuss Revelations there are far to many opinions on it. it simply creates division

Understandable. There are probably some things we don't need to know thats why we don't understand it. It could be something only a past or future generation would understand. Like you said it creates division because people want to make sense out of something they don't understand.

Daily reminder. Tithe is not mentioned in the Gospel. God doesn't need or want anyones money because it all belongs to him anyhow. Unless people want to make false teachers even richer.
