Are All who call upon the Name of the LORD Jesus saved? What can disqualify a "caller"?

Then why have i been around the church for 40 years and have NEVER seen it. Are you saying that NOBODY I have been around has ever been good enough to have miraculous ability? Why don’t some of these people go clear out a hospital?
Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
Acts 4:16 -
Ive never seen a “miracle” that was “undeniable”. The ones you see on TV are completely deniable.
Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
Acts 5:15-16
This does not happen today.
Did you repent of sin...permanently?
That is the first thing to do, according to Peter in Acts 2:38.

see baptism has nothing to do with our sins only symbolic old man dies goes to watery grave resurrected out of the watery grave, the moment we get saved we are justified and sanctified. if you feel the need to have water baptism essential to salvation be my guest. you just added works
You should reread my post.
My salvation is still on the "burner", as there is still a day of judgement to come.

Vs. 4-31 are all about those things that must come to pass first. Vs. 3-8 are the beginning of sorrows. then from vs. 9-31 Jesus proceeds to tell them of the signs of the end of the age, which means the end of the world.

Mat 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
Mat 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Jesus began by telling them about the destruction of the temple that happened in 70AD during the destruction of Jerusalem. From there on Jesus continued to answer the last two questions they asked.

All these things was Jesus telling them about the destruction of Jerusalem that they would see in their lifetime.
Mk 13: 1-5 and Lk 21: 5-7 should clear this up. You read those passages and it is crystal clear on what question he is dealing with. You really think the apostles were worried about his second coming? They didnt even believe he was gonna die much less be raised from the dead to ascend and then come again. You are giving the apostles a little too much credit at this time. Thomas didnt believe even after he was raised.
There were many Christians living in Jerusalem in 70AD that were slaughtered by the Roman guards. The ancient historian Josephus, Tacitus and Flavius said there were around 600,000 to 1,100,000 Jews killed during this siege. Being that this happened during the time of Passover there would have been many Christians that lived and also traveled there for the festival of Passover.
I know there were many jews killed. I said christians. I do not believe there were any Christian’s killed. I also do not believe there would have been many Christian’s in Jerusalem seeing that the jews were not all that hospitable to the christian faith. But, the ones that were there got out.
During its long history, Jerusalem has been destroyed at least twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times. Do you really think that all of God's own survived? No.
Define Gods own? Also, when were all these attacks you are speaking of after AD70. Im not aware of this with all of these Christians living in Jerusalem. There weren’t even Jews in jerusalem for 1900 years after AD70.
Wow, seriously!!! What about what Jesus said in Matthew 24:29-31 about His second coming. If that is not a clear sign then I don't know what is.
Have you ever heard of apocalyptic language? figurative language? You know, the kind that is not to be used literally but is used to describe a particular event. Let me ask you a question? If this is about the second coming of Jesus then why would it matter if a person was pregnant? Why would it matter if you went back for clothes or not? Why would it matter if you go back in your house? Why would it matter that it is winter time? You think it’ll be better for the world if Christ returns in the summer?
This is why we must be ready as no one knows when Christ will return, but He did give us the signs to watch for, unless you are a preterist that thinks all prophecies have already been fulfilled.
Tell me when there has ever been a time in this world that there HAS NOT been “rumors of wars”? It happens everyday and will continue as long as the Lord allows this world to stand.
No, I believe that one day the Lord will return for final judgment and at that time he WILL NOT set up an earthly kingdom in Jerusalem but will destroy this earth and eternity will begin. Hence the phrase….final judgment

I'm no longer going to answer your lengthy post as it takes to long. I would appreciate it if you would ask me a couple of questions at a time and let me answer them and then you can ask me more.
The reason they are so long is that you have soooo much to say and its all false doctrine so i feel that it must be dealt with. I have done all i can to keep it short. There is always so much more I would like to say.

after reading this reply.. all i can say is your so far out in left field its going to be hard for you find home plate.
your grasping at straws of man made theology the apostle peter wrote about his death burial resurrection calling it the blessed hop and a lively Hope

Is it river water that cleans us making us Spiritually renewed again, or is it by the blood of Christ that cleans away our sin and indwells us with the Holy Spirit?
Ok. you asked a question now I’m going to let the Bible answer it…
Does the blood of Christ wash away sins? Yes.
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
Revelation 1:5
Pretty easy there huh? Pretty clear too. Now the next question is…..WHEN does the blood wash away our sins since we know it doesn’t happen to everyone.
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Acts 22:16
What? You mean river water is directly connected to the washing away of sins? NO WaY! And it’s directly connected to “calling on the name of the Lord”? NO WaY.
What the Bible (not me) just told us is…..
1. WHAT washes away sins….the blood
2. WHEN the blood washes away sins…..in the waters of baptism.
This is why Paul could describe baptism in dirty river water as being…..risen with Christ to “walk in newness of life”. Rom 6 If “newness of life” is not being born again then I don’t know what is.
This is how you let the Bible answer questions. Try it sometime.
First we confess we are a sinner
No scripture here? Where does the Bible say we “first” confess our sins?
and through repentance we confess Jesus as Lord and Savior as it's through God's grace being a free gift that no one can work for, but to only receive His gift.
Again…no scripture? Where does the Bible say…repentance and confession are connected. I just showed you above how the Bible connects baptism and calling on the Lord now why don’t you do the same with repentance actually being your confession. And no Johns baptism is not NT gospel baptism. That is proven in acts 19.
Jesus is that gift of God's grace to all who will believe and receive Him. At the time of confessing Jesus as Lord and Savior then we receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who will teach us all truths. Jesus would have had no time to teach the words God gave Him if He went around baptizing people everywhere He traveled to.
Again….no scripture? You heard this from some sorry preacher like Les Feldick on TV. You didnt get it from the Bible.
The Bible said that Jesus baptized even more then John so there must have been A LOT of baptizing going on around Jesus even though he didnt physically do the baptizing. He obviously was preaching while his peeps were doing the Dunking.

Information comes from deeper studies.

I will retract about what I said about not being able to be baptized in purity pools as there were around 500 pools around Jerusalem in that day of Pentecost. But, the point being is where did John the Baptist ever speak about being immersed in water to obtain salvation or to receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit? Why did John say that he must decrease and Jesus increase?
Im sorry but how is JTB connected to any of this. He was to decrease in that his teaching and baptism would be done away with and the gospel of Jesus Christ would take over. We are not baptized according to the teaching of JTB today. He and his teaching are gone.
Salvation in Christ had not come yet when John was baptizing as his was for "prepare ye the way of the Lord" where repentance comes first, but not yet being Spiritually born again from above. People repented of their sins before they were immersed, so the water only symbolized the cleaning away of sin.
Not really. JTB taught and baptized….”for the remission of sins”. Mk 1:4. It doesn’t say…that it was just symbolic.
It wasn't until Jesus came that He was baptized in water by John to fulfill righteousness, but also to identify with humanity as he being the word of God who knew no sin. What other reason would Jesus have to be baptized in water, but to identify with humanity.
The only reason Jesus was baptized was…”to fulfill all righteousness”. Mt 3:15.
John said in Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
That is correct. This tells us what will happen. Does it tell us when and how this would play out? No
This is the baptism of Christ as the Holy Spirit was not come down yet during John's baptism. The 120 in the upper room that day received the indwelling of the Holy, given fire which means God's power and authority in order to carry out the will of God in order to take His word out into the nations.
I’ve dealt with this here recently with somebody. The 120 DID NOT receive the baptism of the HG on Pentecost. I highlighted many reasons why. For instance it was said….are all these men Galileans? The 120 weren’t all men and I doubt all 120 were from Galilee.
The 3000 that day could have been baptized in water, but we can only assume this. We do know they were baptized into Christ Baptism receiving the indwelling of the Holy Spirit like those in the upper room as they went back to where they traveled from and witnessed the word of God to others as many of the disciples were sent to where they lived to help teach them.
We are told that the early converts didnt go anywhere until acts 8 after much persecution. By then the apostles had been laying hands on people giving them the gifts of the Spirit that would allow them to go back and teach and worship and pray live the Christian life. These gifts DID NOT just fall on them at conversion. Acts 8 proves thIs.
If you do not want to believe this then that is your choice, but it all comes from the very word of God if you would allow yourself to learn this yourself instead of what others are teaching you that you are indoctrinated in.
Im still looking for the very words of God this is coming from. Im looking up and there isnt any word of God to support what you just said.

What disqualifies a caller is one that walks by his own will and a carnal knowledge that sways others away from truth.
You are correct. And you can prove me disqualified right now. If you and the others are correct and “calling on the name of the Lord” for salvation under the new covenant means prayer; then show me ONE just ONE example in the NT of an alien sinner needing salvation praying for it and you can prove me to be disqualified. But, if you don’t provide this then what does that say about you?

after reading this reply.. all i can say is your so far out in left field its going to be hard for you find home plate.

Nice post. Does absolutely nothing for our conversation which is typical of the denominational world. Let me ask you a simple question? Read the following passage and tell me what the apostles wanted to learn?
And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
Luke 21:5-7
You can read, right? What were the apostles curious about? The destruction of the temple or his “second coming” that they didnt even believe in? The second coming is not even hinted in the above passage. And Im the one way out in left field? You people make stuff up as you go.

nope why was Jesus baptized ? he was a sinner right ?
Why are you deflecting? What does this have to do with the question I asked you? You don’t want to answer? I know why you don’t want to answer because then youll have to give up years of your false teaching on Matt 24 and what’s being discussed.

2 Timothy 2:23

“But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.”
Titus 3:9
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
when you get back to home plate i will reply until :thumbsup :sorry2x then. i will read your post and chuckle

you sure dont have much if its on the back burner 1 john 5 says we may know we have eternal life .
Do you think you will finish your life with the same belief?
That belief being that you can live without sin?
1 John 5:2..."By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments."

Are you saying that after repentance a person then NEVER sins again? Thats not biblical.
Yes, I am.
Repentance means..."turn away from", or, "change".
If you turn from smoking, you are a non-smoker.
If you turn from adultery, you are monogamous.
If you repent of lying, you are truthful.
If you keep on smoking, committing adultery, and lying, you are unrepentant.
It is written..."By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. (I John 5:2)
"Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity." (2 Tim 2:19)
"Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame." (1 Cor 15:34)

Do you think you will finish your life with the same belief?

no body said with out sin i have a advocate and i also have 1 john 1:9 but most all i have a know so salvation i know that i know beyond any shadow of doubt.. you added to my words . i dont need a legalist belief that makes me beg everyday not to Go to hell . i am under grace not law
