As I have oft said, I was stupid and walked, daily, into the line of fire and i wish the LORD would take me out of here now but He is not ready for that and as long as I'm here I will serve. God knows the day each of us will go to either Heaven or to Hell and God has not called any of us to be cowards. With all of that said, God does have His children here to be a blessing to the Lost Man.

God created some birds, some snakes and some lizard that bury their heads in the sand to hide. Since I was in the army I have enjoyed eating birds, lizards and snakes and they are defenseless when a man is hungry. Right now, the beasts are hungry and they will not be satisfied, not this one. I can't remember where but God has taught us to watch the different things on and of the earth to learn of life. The thing the animals that bury their heads teach us, best, is preparation or death, they are the choice.

Unless I am in the desert, the lizard and the Diamond Back can, easily, hide from me and get away to live another day and the lizards usually get away from me, even when I was young but that old Rattler, he, without fail, takes a stand and lets me know where my supper is waiting. In most cases, the lizards escape and the snake, I like the old ones, they end up on a stick over a fire or in the oven at home. I choose not to be an ostrige and I choose not to be a Western Diamond Back Rattler. No, Iplan ahead to protect my family.

People have been saying the same thing for centuries. I wonder what the followers of Christ thought when they seen millions of Jews being led to the slaughter and the entire world a unstable killing field in what we know as the holocaust. And even they were wrong.

Everyday thousands of people get killed in the world. Why do they think showing me on the news a picture of cutting off peoples heads is intimidating?.

i am no biblical scholar, but it seems to me that if we as a body of Christ band together in one accord, and agree, and pray against isis doing any more harm on u.s. soil, then the enemy has to flee. As in Mark 11:22-25, and Matt 18:19-20

You are so right Jim and they do know that we have our heads in the sand and we are reducing our ability to respond. I have yet to see anyone that is not on FNC to even note that the best and most experienced are being Pink Slipped, some of them on the battle field.

I remember at one time the president at the time quoted a number of troops that he had just sent over sea's.
I was friends with a lot of the guards where I was working at the time and many had just recently got out of the military and some had been out for awhile and they stayed active and glued to what was really going on. What I can say that I saw was numbers that did not onlly Not matched what the president had said but the actual numbers of troops sent at that time was so much and I do mean so much more then said.

When a birth certificate is scanned for web use there is usually one layer with a jpg, png, tiff or of the other single layer image extentions, this one was a multilayer extension format and was a digitally composed forgery. If the American people do not begin to demand honesty in Government, Tribulation or not, the US will soon be no more.

I have prayed for one who tortured me and my children. But that doesn't mean I have to allow that person to kill me or my children.
I would never want to take anyone's life and would take steps to try to prevent that from happening. But I can tell you right now that if someone were to come after my family and that was the only alternative I had they would be dead. I would grieve about their lose but they were the one who was the predator, the one acting worse than any animal in God's kingdom.

They are attacking those who name themselves Moslem, which is making them very unpopular with the majority. Opinion polls in the Middle East delineate that people are now wary of them, which limits contributions and other forms of support to them.

A second mistake is not giving enough thought to how to rule captured territory. After a few months, regions they capture tend to revolt, forcing them to tie down their troops in garrison duty. If they don't make the people they rule reasonably content with their rule, they can't hold the territory they capture. This is important. When cities surrendered to the Mongols, they were treated with respect and toleration. The Mongols gave good government to the cities that surrendered to them.

A third mistake is declaring war on vast regions of the globe, by attacking foreign citizens in bodacious ways. This has led to a global coalition giving supplies and air support to their opponents. At this time, the primary ISIS threat is terrorism, since they have not proven capable of assimilating territory they capture. They are able to attract recruits in distant lands via propaganda. Locals in the Middle East who have actually experienced their rule tend to want nothing to do with them.
