I consider Arnold Murray having a touch (just a touch mind you) of the World Wide Church of God with his lost tribes stuff, but what I believe heretical teaching about the multiple origins of the races of mankind and calling (at least some) of the Jews impostors as opposed to people from the tribe of Judah--- so it's not traditional or true Anglo-Israelism but a contorted form. He also believes in the Serpent Seed doctrine, ie. it was by Satan Eve bore Cain.
I know a woman at our church who partly studied under him, and she's OK in doctrine, but as long as she listened to him, does not seem to be overly versed in eschatology. So I assume he does not teach deeply on that subject, but I am not certain. I know he believes the mark of the beast on the hand or forehead is symbolic of what you believe (head) and what you do (hand) as opposed to an actual mark.
I can tolerate a lot of his teachings, but what I can't tolerate is the guy smirking in the camera and calling those who disagree with him a "yo-yo" and similar names. Despite all the doctrines I mentioned, the thing that bothers me the most is that he smirks and has the gall to say the ancient Israelites used a solar calendar only and judged by the equinox. The months were not reckoned by the moon according to him, which makes the celebration of the feast days all wrong.
Seriously, I doubt if he would even begin to know how ancient Israelites could find the equinox to the proper day, and again, probably does not know a synodic month from a sidereal month but he's going to smugly tell everyone how to keep an (unscriptural) calendar. I love it when someone who did no 5 minutes of study in another's area of knowledge telling them how to do it. How do we know whether or not he has that knowledge? We don't know. He says he's a "doctor" but refuses to reveal where he got his degree. Hmmmm. Well then I won't give him the benefit of the doubt regarding astronomical knowledge. He's just a good talker IMO.
