As in the days of Noah

Matthew Chapter Twenty-four covers the second half of seven years of tribulation.

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Many things are ongoing such as wars, earthquakes, etc, but the intensity will be heightened and the activity accelerated in this future time, and then we can take to heart Matthew 24:34," Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." This present world has its problems, but at that time the cliché "You ain't seen nothing yet" will come to fruition.

Revelation 9:13-16

King James Version (KJV)

13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

thanks.

Great posts here! I believe we are 64 years into the final generation, therefore, those fallen angels will be coming back to this generation. Their wickedness was great on the earth then and it will be now as they will be directing all traffic to Jerusalem so their boss may be worshipped. And if I were a woman I would be keeping my head covered with Lord Jesus, for when they are not directing traffic, they will be on the prowl. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! Matthew 24.19 Fortunately for the ladies, those days shall be shortened.

ok.? why does it really matter about the shabat? im in isreal as we speak there has been talk of ignoring the shabat until the messiah comes. war being the main reason.

Notice that the days of Noah are also in context with the days of Lot. What did they have in common? They had in common an escape from impending destruction...

Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Luk 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
Luk 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Luk 17:31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
Luk 17:32 Remember Lot's wife.

Both of these scenarios are about escaping destruction. Then in the day that Christ is revealed, if you are on the housetop, don't run down the ladder, into the house, grab your suitcase and your photo albums and run back out and say "here I am Lord". You wouldn't do that anyway, you would only do that if you were about to leave your dwelling and run for your life, never expecting to come back. This passage is about fleeing to a place of safety...

Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Don't forget to put in the decription of army:

17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and lof jacinth, and brimstone: and mthe heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued nfire and smoke and brimstone.

19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

Note something about those that were left; Noah and them with him survived to enter a new age. The ones taken were reserved unto judgment. So it will be in the tribulation; the ones left will enter the millennium as we read in Matthew 10:22 ". . he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
The ones taken probably by death just as those in the flood or some other means will be taken to await judgment at the end of the thousand years.

Thanks. This is not symbolic of a human army, but rather demon spirits, which, as well, will be invisible. All of this presents demon spirits riding demon horses. Probably confined to the Middle East area.

Mat 24:37 - But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 - For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 - And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

All that these fantastic end-time fables do is obscure the true message of the above scripture. The end arrives as an unexpected termination to the continuum of the mundane world we all experience. They had no idea what was coming because everything seemed normal, so for us to be trusting in an interpretation of signs that demands the unveiling of the fantastic means we've missed the point entirely. Rather, if you must, seek prophetic meaning in the everyday world.

synthesis i agree. the world when the flood was is very evil. likewise when he comes so shall it be.

how earth we go from a flood idea to the millenium where children of sinners live to be in the millenium is one odd idea to me.

Seems to me

This is all just normal life I disagree the world will be so evil.....

I ask again how many christians today and how many 2000 years ago.

2000 years ago the gospel was heard around Israel and then started spreading out... Today the gospel pretty much covers the earth... there may be a few here or there but for the most part the gospel is world wide... Look at the blessing we have life expectitence is up... many killers are not killers medical speaking....

hmm i dont know. we have made influence by that.my favorite mod. is a most jewish thought. without the torah the earth would be very dark. the idea that earth is made whole by HIS light isnt what is shown in the bible when the church is still around but rather then the lost get found via that light.

i dont see it getting darker but rather like noah. righteous warning the wicked to get into jesus to be saved from the judgement.

Huh? :)

Genesis 5:5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years.
Genesis 5:8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years.
Genesis 5:11 And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years.
Genesis 5:14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years.
Genesis 5:17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years.
Genesis 5:20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years.
Genesis 5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years.
Genesis 5:27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years.

Could be i am wrong but i see Jesus as the victor... He is King of kings. All power in heaven and earth has been given to Him.

Rev_17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Indeed :thumb

Ecclesiastes 9:2 "ALL THINGS come alike to ALL: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath."

Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

1 Corinthians 3:21 "Therefore let no man glory in men. For ALL THINGS are yours;
1 Corinthians 3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; ALL are yours."

Revelation 1:3 "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is [always] at hand."

This desire to escape the trials and tribulations of our walk is natural, but it is not Scriptural. This is Scriptural:

Acts 14:22 "Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God."

The "way of escape" is through the flood of Noah, through the Red Sea, through the lion's den, through the fiery furnace, and finally through the fire of the Cross. The "Not appointed unto wrath" of 1 Thessalonians 5:9 is true in the same sense as we are not appointed unto death, but to life. The way we get to that life is by losing our life:

Matthew 10:39 "He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it."

The sons of God in Genesis 6:4 are the fallen angels. In Genesis 6:1-4 the "sons of God" are captivated by the beauty of the "daughters of men." They subsequently marry them and produce an offspring of giants known as the Nephilim. The bible tells us that some fallen angels who are demons were so bad that they are chained in darkness in hell at this time. Four evil angels located at the Euphrates River where they have been in prison for rebelling against God in heaven will be let loose by the sixth Angel from heaven. They will destroy 1/3 of mankind (located in the Middle East) by fire, smoke, and brimstone. This includes the army of 200 million that has advanced towards Israel.

Correction: The bible tells us that some fallen angels who are demons were so bad that they are chained in darkness in hell at this time. Four evil angels located at the Euphrates River where they have been in prison for rebelling against God in heaven will be let loose by the sixth Angel from heaven. These evil angels along with a army of 200 million demon spirits will destroy 1/3 of mankind by fire, smoke, and brimstone. These demon spirits will not advance towards Israel. These deaths could take place through out the world, however some scholars believe this will take place in the Middle East. Revelation 9:14-21
