It would not bother me in the least but it is hard to tell what your history holds from many,many years back.There was a story years ago in the paper and a caucasian lady had given birth to a baby that was black.Her husband divorced her but he thought she had not been unfaithful to him.Way,way back their was a black relative that she was not aware of.That can happen.

A little less than half. But I have relatives that are nearly full blooded that are able to grow full beards.

According to my mom, my biological dad claimed to have some Cherokee Indian blood. No idea if that's true or not. From the sounds of it he sometimes made stuff up.

It would be more likely that they both had dark alleles and the child got more of the alleles for dark skin than either parent had. If you are interested here is the link to a chart that shows the combinations that can happen.
