Being so formal

What do you think about these people, the naturally formal people (some are, maybe, born that way:sad)

They wear formal clothes alway.
They speak formal language all the time.
Their eating habit, movement, sleeping position, way of holding the cup while drinking water, the way they wave or draw someone's attention, the way they yawn, fart, sleep, stand, clap, sit, drive etc...everything is formal.

My dad is close to that...

I don't think about them one way or the other. There's room in this world for al types.

They're not generally the ones, however, I want to have a few beers with.

Meh, whatever floats their boat. Some people enjoy formal settings, others like things less so. I don't think it really speaks to any great hidden truth.

Also, the concept of what is "formal" is somewhat subjective and cultural.

I've always been puzzled in an amused sort of way by pictures of adults at leisure in the 1800's. They're always outside drinking lemonade or something, it looks like it's about 100 in the shade, and they're dressed from head to toe. They're wearing suits and dresses, all with undergarments. I'd last 10 minutes before my suit would be soaked with sweat! Maybe they hadn't invented sweat by then, but I hope they had deodorant. :)

Those pictures make me thankful that I was born in a day and age when I could slap on shorts and a t, and not wind up in the hospital from dehydration. :yes
