It's really hard to find Christian bands to the degree of heavy rock tunes that I typically enjoy--Slipknot, Mushroomhead, Nevermore, Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Dimmu Borgir... all of them have a lot more instrumental things going on than most Christian bands ever do.
Feldew: My sentiment exactly, while not on the same playlist as yourself. I find myself listening to far more secular music simply because I enjoy the music more: Rush, Yes, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Dream Theater, Offspring, Mike Oldfield, Them Crooked Vultures.......
Being involved in music at church I am/have been involved in playing and selecting the songs on a regular basis.
..but to answer the original question... Switchfoot.. (with daylight second)
(Oh does Alice Cooper count?? He is now a Christian afterall...)
