True, God does have prophets, but man also makes many false prophecies, that's been demonstrated time and time again, and the scriptures also do say that people will fall away from sound doctrine and look for teachers who tickle their ears with lies
I always thought this silly 23rd bit was from a misunderstanding of the Greek language that people use to support the rapture, ( In Thessalonians ) but now I see that some are now claiming that this date of the 23rd starts some critical period in scripture, so let's give them the benefit of the doubt

Oh wow. I just figured out the real significance of yesterday to us believers. Geez all ya goota do is to read the rest of the chapter of Revelation 12. Everybody's been talking about the woman virgin constellation and no one was talking about the rest of it!
Revelation 12
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.../
so yesterday the tribulation started. The next 3-1/2 years wont be tooo bad but then it's hell on earth. Geez I can't believe I hadn't read that yet. Revelation has always been kind of hard for me to understand so I don't study it as much as other books...
So ArchAngel Michael was the restrainer, holding Satan back, but not any more...Whoa. Exciting time to be alive.

Old Harold Camping made quite a bit of money playing on peoples belief that he could predict the second coming. He died rich and a liar and a fraud using the scriptures as his hook.

I mentioned similar on another forum that the context of this alignment in Revelation 12:1 is NOT the end of the world, but a birth and then persecution. It may have to deal with the start of tribulation but in the end is the Kingdom of Christ in which the world has to be very much here yet. While I am not against this as an alignment regarding prophecy,I am dismayed at the sensationalism they make out of this taking things totally out of context, and then it gives a bad name for legit prophecy. Obviously one of Satan's tactics to smear God's prophetic Word so that nobody listens any longer. And I've been trying to educate folks on this for years and getting tired of saving babies and throwing out bathwater.

How is your "end of the world" party progressing? Is there plenty of food? Are you supplying the party hats and noise makers? There are some that are still waiting, there clocks and calendars must be wrong because we are all still here.

IF you know the trib started yesterday is it that far fetched to ask you when it will end?

No sometimes it just seems like you're very bitter about something and it's like you pick on me sort've.
IF the trib started yesterday then it goes for 7 years, right? My main point was that God put Trump in office. But from the way Rev 12 reads the trib probably did start yesterday.

Yeah, had a great time, lots of food, music, watched a bunch of dvd's where the world was to end but unfortunately the guest of honor, the planet Nibiru, failed to show up......refused to even do a fly by. Well, I am sure this week we will get a revised end of the world date and I can schedule another party.
