Book Keeper's Coffee Shop

No, no, no you goof!! I meant that I'll believe that it's even better than the kind of popcorn that you buy at the movies if and when I ever taste it mister literal! :lol

You know it's sort of ironic that JohnDB helps keep the trolls away but often time is one himself. LOL! :hysterical

Stop making excuses. Use a surfcaster then and cast 100 yards. :)

:thinkingAh yes, To many trees an bushes in the way and people and ATV's on the path between the river and the deck..................... I'll just lay in my lounge chair and enjoy the view.

What about walking down the river and casting out then walking the rod back to the deck?. It's looks like a clear view in the picture, no big trees or obstacles ahead.

Can no do Magoo. There is an embankment between the camp and the path you can't see in the pic and then another steep embankment from the path to the river with a small rock beach between the embankment and the river. We just need to buy a canoe, that will fix everything.

Oh btw guys, I wound up choosing Annie myself. :) (I've always been obsessed with that name too lol!)

Hehe, I am SO glad that I will never have to worry about this problem when I go to the movies! Unless of course,... I just happen to be on Candid Camera. :lol

Good evening patrons! :wave2
I won't be contributing today due to an event I have this evening. I would like to thank all for continuing the conversation and having fun.
It was my Mum's birthday yesterday and we have a function at a local bistro; my parents have invited around 50 guests to engage in celebrations - Lord knows I'd rather spend a quiet evening in, however I'm not one to surrender from supporting friends and family.

I will be online tomorrow morning (possibly early morning when I get back in); I'll endeavour to post as as soon as possible.

Extend our best wishes to your Mother on her Birthday :)

Well that's the evening over for me; I have my parents dogs to look after whilst my parents are staying at a hotel.
It's been a truly wonderful evening; the most important segment was that my Mum enjoyed it.

In other news; I start a new job next Thursday; I thought a change would be preferable, and I didn't want to do the job I currently do for much longer. I am becoming a caravan service technician; to my American friends, if you are not already aware, a caravan is the British version of a travel trailer.

I'm guessing this is a big change from the job you are leaving. Sounds exciting and you will be meeting many people, unless the caravans are unoccupied.
Glad you had a lovely evening and your Mum enjoyed the celebration. What breed (or mixture) are your parents dogs?

After a stressful day at work, I like to unwind by engaging in light conversation, about anything and everything. I will be posting her regularly, however I invite others to post here too. It doesn't matter what we discuss, all is welcome in the shop.

The coffee shop is a warm and friendly environment; no hostilities or fierce debates are welcome here - please let them at the door! We have a blanket ban on politics, therefore please ensure you wipe your feet on the way in.

The shop is open 24/7! Come on, grab a coffee and a delicious pastry and enjoy.
Let them at the door?
Do you mean Leave them at the door?

Underground,,,,, you mean subway?
Walkway..... You mean underground?
Lift............. You mean elevator?

What else?

I just watched Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark the other night...told the kids at work about it and they decided they had to tune into Netflix to watch it the same as I had.

I liked that movie...
And I especially liked how because Indiana showed respect and fear for God's chair...he got to live. Those who didn't...died miserably and grotesquely.
meh...it was a cheap thrill. The real truth is much much worse. But watching it happen quickly delights my soul for some twisted reason.
I rewatched Raiders and the Last Crusade too! (i don't like the 2nd one or the 4th for that matter). I think the 3rd is my favorite because of Indy's relationship with his dad and Sean Connery/Harrison Ford are funny together.

Thank you! I will be in the service and repair part of the industry, therefore empty RV's won't bother me too much.
They're two Boarder-Terriers.
