Born Again

Hello - I appear to have been born again.
It seems to have been a time delayed explosion.
Years ago I prayed to be this way but nothing happened. I figured I had been conned by fakes and had nothing to do with them again.
When it happened I'm not sure - but I have been changed both internally and physically. I look younger than I did a month ago (years younger) and feel younger; the flab on my hips went away even though my appetite increased and I can see a six pack where my paunch used to be.
My understanding and power of thought have changed dramatically.
And I performed what can only be described as a miracle.
Fortunately no one else saw this, if they had I'd be pursued by a mob day and night. The people I described it to either think I'm funning them or encountered a very unusual coincidence.

I've known people who told me they were born again but there was very little change in them, the only change I could see was in their opinions.
This was an actual physical change, as if I became somebody else.
People I haven't seen in a year or so are amazed at how different I appear.

I have been taken aback by some of the reactions of Christians - I am devil possessed, not born again etc etc - I politely usher these out of my airspace and ask them not to come around again. Since my born again was not like their born again, I am not born again - and they get ugly about it.
I'm not interested in hearing that sort of stuff.

I'm simply letting others know what happened and don't care if they believe it or not.
I know what Born Again really means - it is NOT a figure of speech.

No way am I going to tell anyone who I am or where I live.

To be born again, does not mean you look better, i am sure you know this.

Interesting testimony. However, you don't mention Jesus, or the work of the Spirit in your heart. It would be interesting if you could share your testimony of how you were regenerated.

My apologies folks it must have been a fluke.
I seem to be back to the old self.

I did get some interesting insights though.
Proof - I've heard people say they prayed to be given a sign, and when they didn't get it they stopped believing. My take is that they were asking for proof God exists.
If God answered their prayer then they wouldn't believe out of faith, but because they had proof. That is the end of free will; you didn't believe out of faith, but because you had no choice once you'd been given the proof you asked for.
Of course if you need proof to have faith, then you obviously don't have faith.
No faith equals faithless - faithless equals Godless.
Perhaps that is why God doesn't answer such prayers.
