Now when I first said Fear is faith in something you did not understand what I ment.
Example......big wild dog snarling at your feet ready to pounce on you and eat you alive.
Now are you scared ? If so then you must "believe" that this wild dog can hurt you.
So if you believe it can hurt you then you have Faith in this wild dog as to it can hurt you.
If you were not afraid of this dog then you would have no fear and faith that it can not hurt you.

We use faith everyday without even thinking about it, faith that the lite switch will turn on the light and faith that when I sit in this chair it will hold me. Now you dont have to activate this faith because it comes natural and this is because you have sat in enough chairs to know or (believe) it will hold you. Brother that is Faith in that chair.

Now if you have ever stuck your finger in a light socket you know and have learned it will hurt you bad.
Now then this can also be seen as fear of the light socket if some one were to try and stick your finger in it. I mean You would be fighting against that for sure....Why because you beleive or know or have FAITH in the fact that the light socket will hurt you.

This is what I was saying when I said fear of it is faith in it....That is why our enemy the devil uses fear so much..
If he the devil can get you to fear enough it destorts YOUR FAITH in God's word because Fear is faith in what ever you fear.....Fear can stop your Faith in God....That is what I was meaning......

I tend not to take vitamins. These verses sound like a supplement list. The main things are: repent, believe on Jesus, receive the Holy Spirit and these supplements help you. LOL.

A few years ago we went on an ocean cruise. Looking out, I understood how big the ocean was, and how powerful it was. I reflected how small and weak I was in comparison to the ocean. In short, I was in utter awe while being surrounded by it.

In like, I fear the Lord, but I have faith that I'm safe in Jesus.

This agrees with Satan not being able to do more to Job than what God allowed. The storms of the ocean go only so far; just as beaches set limits.

Personally, I think scripture covers everything, and where it doesn't we should look to Romans 14- show grace and mercy to fellow believers. For example, there was a post on here somewhere about the Eucharist- When Jesus says "this is my body/this is my blood" is it LITERALLY his body & blood or FIGURATIVELY. Since Jesus didn't say one way or the other (it could be interpreted either way) the best thing to do is let it go. Our salvation depends on if we've accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, everything else is bonus.

Praise is not to give us the big head, and chastisement is not to destroy us. I totally think he helps mold and direct our new will over time.

This passage leaves me treading water. Most other translations insert creation for creature.
So
If creation (the water raging) was at fault, then the scripture is telling us the wind was at fault. If it had been satan, then the rebuke would have been directed at satan (?).
Have I been corrected? I am so glad I said (satan might), although I have made mistakes before. The welding goggles are so dark at times. Reba the shade you use are great.
