Calling Samuel's Spirit, what's it?

The soul and the spirit are connected, but separable. The soul is the essence of humanity’s being as it is who we are in character. The spirit is the aspect of humanity that connects with God as in God breathing life into us. When this physical body dies it returns to the dust of the ground and decomposes as our spirit that connects to God goes back to him. When Jesus returns we are resurrected with bodies that are spiritual, imperishable, and raised in glory and power, but yet no one knows what we will look like other than we will be like him.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Ecc 12:7 then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

1Co 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
1Co 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
1Co 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Good that you explained about Spirit and body but what about soul? Didn't Jesus warn us What does a man profit if he loses his own soul? You description about spirit and body is very much convincing but you haven't said what would happen to soul

Samuel told Saul since he rejected the word of God, God has now rejected Saul from being king. 1Samuel 15:23 Samuel also mentions about rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness as being iniquity and idolatry as Saul's rebellion would lead to his death as those who practiced witchcraft were also put to death, Lev 20:6; 27.

Yes For His Glory but this doesn't imply that an evil spirit would know precisely the timing of Saul's death. Are you saying the evil spirit guessed or discerned Saul would die in the battle with the Philistines the next day ?

The soul is the very essence of who we are as in our character/behavior. No one can kill who we are, but can kill the body. When God breathed life into us we became a living soul.

1Samuel 25:15 The familiar spirit only repeated that of what Saul told him except his prediction of Saul's death as IMO the familiar spirit knew what happens to those who have familiar spirits and those who pursue after them and that Saul would probably go into battle the next day as the Philistines were ready to attack. Whether the familiar spirit was putting two and two together because of all the following events to take place or that it was Saul's fear that caused him to die the next day scripture is not clear on that or at least I have never found any that supports this. Lev 19:31; 20:6, 27; 1Chronicles 10:13 are Gods warnings about those with familiar spirits.
