Can't LOGIN using top of page LOGIN ? READ THIS !

Recently, using the top of the page, I've had to click on 'log in' two times to get the sign in with name and password. The first time asks for a bunch of info like email, etc. Like you're becoming a new member. So, you might want to try clicking 'log in' twice if that has happened to you.

Using the top one I get a big menu like it is a new signup, only with most of the boxes already filled. But it will not take it.
What I have been doing is clicking on someone's profile pic to go to their page. It says you cannot do that unless you are signed in and it pops up the sign in window. I sign in, and then go back to the main page.
