Celebrities & Sunglasses

Okay, not the most hard-hitting of topics, but something this sticks in my craw (whatever a craw is).

What's the deal with celebrities wearing sunglasses inside & outside, day or night? I find this very arrogant of them, because my theory is it's a way of keeping a barrier between themselves and the "common people". This barrier isn't a protective measure to keep their personal side to themselves. To me it's more of a bubble they put between themselves and others so they are not fully in their midst. :gah

How much money do you have to earn? How many followers on Twitter must you boast. How famous do you have to be to be "sunglasses-worthy"? It is an arrogant, put-myself-on-a-pedestal, I'm-too-cool-for-you, I'm-more-important-than-you attitude they have, and I'm quite put off by it. 2

Mike, it could be, Dora it could be. I'm sure it's a least a mixture of both. At least here in the land of Sun we do it to protect our eyes from sun damage.

I wear sunglasses indoors quite a bit.

It's because I'm cooler than Mike. :


Well also because I'm highly photosensitive and get migraines.


But mainly, it's 'cuase I'm cooler than Mike. :D

Gimme a break. They wear them in interviews, indoors... everywhere. You people don't see this? It's not to protect their eyes from the sun.

One group of people I do catch wearing the sunglasses inside are professional athletes..most notably big name basketball (NBA) players. Pregame, inside the arena, almost every game, SOMEBODY is wearing their sunglasses...and these games are played in the evenings/night more often than not. 2

i really would like to see where that was filmed or made in miami as i drove through all of miami recently save miami beach and didnt see any of the scenes and scenery.
