Perhaps I was misunderstood. In the pass I have had that verse quoted as a way to sort out the Satanists amongst us . Their point was that a antichrist person wouldn't or couldn't declare that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and is from god himself. I debate this saying that Satan is the king of deceiver's and what better way to deceive Christians than to pretend to be one off them.


Any how I'm way off the topic. I' m sure John said it for reason and theirs more to it. I admit I have a long way to go in my journey

sometimes I have a bad habit of posting to assuming the people that read have been christians for ages.

people wont say Jesus is savior lord and God if they are serving someone else it comes unnaturally

Will actully I have been a christain for ages. Its just my faith was weak. Lately I have tried to kick start it, hence me coming to this forum. i still consider myself new in my faith and admit I'm not that will versed. However one thing I do know the devil is the prince of deciver's and I wouldn't underestimate him if I was you.
