Absolutely. Tolkien and George RR Martin. I admit that Martins works are a bit crude and the world of Westeros is not really the type of world a Christian should venture into, but I have a hard time getting away from it. I'm sure that's a terrible excuse. 
I also get into video games and their storylines... Dark Souls, Final Fantasy, Dragon Age, and so on.

I like Tolkien best, and of course CS Lewis; read all of their stuff.
As for FF, the last one I played was #9, but 4 and 6 were the best by far.
If you need new Christian Fantasy books, might I recommend my own: The Curse of the Rodain & The Rebellion of the Rodain. Good reading, actually Christian. TheBookPatch Bookstore is only place to get them at the moment. Just Google "Rodain Book Patch" and they will come up.
The books have 42 lines per page, like LOTR (so they are like double-length books (by comparison, Narnia books are 21 lines per page)).

Figured you might like my Rodain books Blake - there is some good spiritual stuff in there wrapped inside a satisfying story.

I liked 4, 6, and 9. Shoot, I liked pretty much all of them, but some obviously a lot less than others. 7 is the one I put the most time into, followed by 8 and 10. I didn't get into 11 because I don't play MMORPG's a whole lot at all. Didn't even play an hour of 12. Didn't like 13 whatsoever. 14 was alright but again, MMORPG's aren't my thing so much. I'm REALLY looking forward to 15 coming out.
My favorite FF games were 2, 7, 8, 10, Tactics and Tactics Advance. 10 and 10x2 are being re-released as an HD remake for the PS4 in a couple of months and I'll be picking it up for sure.

4 has the best overall story (and if you played FFIV the After Years for the Wii (all 13 chapters)...if you didn't know they existed - play all the way through, the last chapter is massively larger and longer than all the others and much, much more enjoyable - it's like the original game)).
6 is #2 best story.
7 took a lot of time - the only game where I didn't try to get absolutely every possible thing. The racing...never beat Ruby or Emerald. Though I liked the challenge and Knights of the Round (best of that sort).

Final fantasy is not christian but it's very spiritual.

Yeah, definitely not Christian games ( I wouldn't categorize them as evil either of course); I played them all before I was ever saved. I still appreciate the complexity of the story lines.

Final Fantasy VII has some decent parallels to Christianity though. Aeris comes from a selected lineage of chosen people (Abrahamic) and the "Holy" materia is activated through her sacrifice and prayer. Sephiroth (a Jewish Mysticism reference) and Shinra are both searching for the Promised Land. There are plenty of other Christian references, and it's chock full of other spiritual references... Norse Mythology (Nibelheim, Midgar), Jungian Psychology (the Lifestream), Bugenhagen's teachings in Cosmo Canyon are pantheistic... it goes on and on.
Not surprising. The creator of Final Fantasy was Japanese, and Japanese media tends to include spiritual themes a lot.

Last Jap game I played was Chrono trigger. Not a fan of jap games, the art or the trillion hp damage you do with countless and meaningless spells. Also the fact lots of them say something stupid before attacking, Shoryuken Ken.
Old School Dungeon and Dragon here, Skyrim, Neverwinter Nights, Magic the Gathering.

All great games. Chrono Trigger is one of the best of all time. I sold all my Magic cards but I used to play regularly. Hey in all fairness though, Trigger was totally a Jap game. Lol. You mention stupid things being said, man I've been playing the newest DBZ game and its full of that. Really enjoying the gameplay though.
I haven't played the 2 sequel yet. It was a good game!
Ooh, ooh! Try male voice number 8! It's hilarious! I don't have the game, but I know about this because I know of the guy who did it on YouTube.
