I thought about posting this in 'News and Current Events', but it is too ridiculas for that.

The Tea party backed Delaware Republican Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell says she became a Christian because she loves meatballs.

Now she either loves herself, or she is calling Jesus a meatball, or she is calling us meatballs.

And to think we all became Christians because we believe in Jesus.

And that is honestly the reason why, because I'm Italian and I love meatballs.

I didn't know O'Donnell was an Italian name.

An interview with Maher drug up from over 10 years ago and reported on the CNN website. I'm shocked that they would post this story about a conservative candidate... (not really) :bigfrown

Here's a 4th option - it could have been a joke.

There are a few pleasant liberals. Maher isn't one of them. The things that come out of his mouth that doesn't get challenged by the media as hate-mongering. He's hateful to conservatives and hateful to Christians. Maher interviewing a conservative Christian on his own show is like throwing a meatball to him with a bat in his hand! I haven't followed that race closely or her personally too much, but I'm familiar enough with CNN and Maher to see right through their agendas.
