Think of homophobia.
Why does that term exist?
What does it mean?
Is it good or bad to be homophobic?
Now think of Christophobic.
Do you realize how many persons are Christophobic?
They think badly of Christ and Christians.
They'd like to see us disappear, but here we will remain.
How CLOSED MINDED are these Christophobics?
Don't they have the modern and all wonderful and accepting of everything OPEN MIND??
It's terrible to be Christophobic and it's time we let them know it so they could feel as guilty as I'm supposed to feel by seeing two guys kissing and accept it as normal.
See?
It just might work...
Same method they used.
Pro-Choice would be another term.
Pro-abortion is too descriptive.
Anto9us2 was kidding.Okay, that all makes sense now that you explained it but what does knocking out the internet have to do with it? I wouldn't say that I have homophobia as I don't like it, but it's homosexuality that I have a problem with not homosexuals themselves. As for abortion,.. sure the woman feels like she has a choice,.. just like a murder has a choice whether or not he or she wants to pull the trigger. The victim does not. So neither does the unborn child in this circumstance.
Abortion= Murder
Plain and simple and it needs to end.
Lots of phobias these days
I agree.I know you are having fun with this new word, but let's keep in mind of what Jesus spoke in John 15:18-27 when using this new word Christophobics as being rebellious against those who do not know Christ as we are to be letting the light of Christ shine through us and to love and pray for our enemies, Matthew 5:43, 44.
I'm actually pretty serious....I know you are having fun with this new word, but let's keep in mind of what Jesus spoke in John 15:18-27 when using this new word Christophobics as being rebellious against those who do not know Christ as we are to be letting the light of Christ shine through us and to love and pray for our enemies, Matthew 5:43, 44.
If you read my post no. 19 you'll see that we're not going to agree on this.I agree.
When we use the same tools (slander) as those who slander us, what is our reward?
Anto9us2 wondering,
Scripture teaches us to live quiet, peaceful lives so that nobody can slander our good works. When we slander those who slander us, we become part of the problem, not the solution.
I work with Muslims and Hindues and I've built good relations with both. My mentor is Hindu and use to hate Christians because in India, Christians are disrespectful of their religion and desecrate their idols and temples and are often argumentve against their religion.
I built a friendship with him and when he talks bad about Christians he pauses, and adds "except you" which has now changed to, " and Christians like you".
It's taken three years to build this relationship. About a month ago he said to me, " I don't even know if our gods are real" and that opened the connection to Jesus.
It's not about winning arguments, it's about winning hearts and honestly, slander only repels and divides. It does not seek unity and it does not accomplish our mission that we know as the great commission. If anything, it works against what Jesus would have us do.
