Churches today - more of a social gathering.

But what if there really are no worthwhile fellowships around? I mean it has happened before in the history of God's people. I liken this time we're in to when the Israelites were steeped in their worship of Baal. It took Elijah to bring them back to their senses, not somebody who made concessions and made them feel better about the wrong they were doing and insisted we all just get with the program and quit complaining.
We don't have Elijah, but we do have Greyhound and Amtrac.... and the entire Interstate Highway System.

By the way, I lived in Hudson for 20 years. If I remember correctly I did visit the Vineyard Church in Port Richey once.

What is the deal with the Vineyard Church?I have not heard good things about it.

What the heck are you even talking about?

I'm talking about the fact that, in this country, there are areas where you can find all sorts of Christian fellowship.... rather than just complaining that "there are no worthwhile churches around", and deciding to play Lone Ranger as the only viable alternative.
Yea.
"heck" gives me the shivers. I'm always concerned with the end result of all the trillions of churches in the universe.

At least the world should be an amazing place, with trillions of churches that litter our environs. It seems the more we build churches the more everything gets threadbare... and people sin more

Funny how that works.
.

Nope. The use of swear words or alternatives. Makes me feel so shy and terrified. :crying
Hell is not a swear word.It all depends on how you use it.Hell is going to be a real place.

Courageous is a good word.
Yep it ain't no church for anything less. I'm a pretty crazy guy who doesn't fear much, and even I have hesitated at some of the stuff we do.

This "Vineyard church" sounds like my kind of place... Do tell.
