God's Salvation, the Amazing Grace of God.... such a wonderful Gift, completed and offered to us for FREE through the Blood of Christ ... is beyond compare,... as what can you compare to the unconditional Love of God?
Salvation is just so astounding. Its just so astounding that God became one of us to bring us back home to Himself, the Just giving Himself for the unjust, the Sinless laying His life down on a Cross for the ungodly, the Creator dying for the sins of His created.
To be saved, to be redeemed,.... is to be undeservedly blessed beyond measure by the Love of God.

One of the remarkable blessing of the finished work of Salvation, is described by Paul as the "blessedness that cometh" to us the believers in Romans 4:9 ..which is to say, that we are found eternally within a certain situation and blood bought position that is wholly created for us ONLY by the Blood Atonement.
This "blessed'd aspect of Salvation describes the fact that none our sins, past, present, or future, once we are saved, are ever held against us again....= forever.
And this is because God will never again charge us with what Jesus was judged for and died for on the Cross.
This is Redemption. =
Jesus's Blood and Death, = God accepts on our behalf to exempt us regarding all our lifetime of sins.
Paul defines this eternal "in Christ" "Sonship" situation, whereby God never again charges us for any of our sins, past, present, or future, as the "blessedness that has come to us the believers", and indeed it is truly to be blessed to be free from the Eternal Judgement for any and all sins we have have ever committed or will ever commit, as THIS is the wonder and blessing and "blessedness" of the finished work of Christ's sacrifice on the Cross.

It works like this....
You sin....= Jesus paid for it already.
You sin again = Jesus paid for it already
Your entire lifetime of sins = Jesus paid for them ALL ALREADY.

This is the eternal "blessedness" as described by Paul in Romans 4:8,9 that has been given as a free and eternal gift to every single believer who has trusted in Christ alone to save them.
Amazing is the GRACE that God forever gives to all who would by Faith believe in Christ.

The one sin that grace can not cover is unrepentant blasphemy of the Holy Spirit:

"whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come." (Matthew 12:32 NASB)

Grace can not forgive you this sin in this age, nor in the one to come (your future sin).

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is calling the Holy Spirit a lying spirit of deception, equating him with the works of darkness. When a person refuses the testimony of the Holy Spirit--that is, decides to not believe--they are committing the one sin that grace can not touch. Hyper-grace doctrine insists that grace does cover that sin in someone who once formerly believed. That's why it's called 'hyper' grace. It's extending grace beyond where it was intended to go, like when you hyper extend your elbow.

At any point you reject the testimony of the Holy Spirit that Jesus is the Christ (that is, go into unbelief), you are calling the Holy Spirit a liar (1 John 5:10 NASB).

"the one who does not believe God has made Him (the Holy Spirit who testifies) a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son." (1 John 5:10 NASB)

This is what the Pharisees did, and for which Jesus said there is no forgiveness for, in this age, nor the one to come. Jesus said, there is no grace available today, or tomorrow for the person who enters into unbelief, in effect calling the Holy Spirit a lying spirit, attributing his work to that of darkness.

Since you are in Rom.
Look at Rom.3:25
For the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God...
Yes, He paid for it, all of it, but I believe one has to confess and repent....
1John 1:6-10
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth,
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins....
1John 2:4-6

He that Saith, I know Him, and Keepeth not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
He that Saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked...

Take the whole Bible in one big outlook.
We are to be holy as He is holy....
1John 3:18
Let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth...

And to do that one, you need to go back in time and witness Jesus doing miracles and say to HIM, " JESUS !! you are doing that by the power of the Devil", and if you do that JB, according to the context of that verse, there is no forgiveness for you THEN, or in the Age to Come...
(Im glad you missed that one). :thumb

Ok, now look closely..... DC
the word "past", does not mean "past sins that you did before you were saved".
That's the heretic's theological idea.
But rather its "past" in the context that Paul is using is Hebrews 8:12..."sins remembered no more". as in, all your sins are in your past and not in God's memory?...they are all GONE. (Christ bore them all on the Cross).
See it?
And then, notice the word "FELLOWSHIP"........
The heretics would teach you that fellowship means, "keeping blood ties".....However, the actual meaning of this word "fellowship", in the context of this verse........is to understand it like this....

If your steal money from your MOTHER, by using her VISA CARD without her permission, and she finds out, then until you make this right by "saying you are sorry" = confession....then you have a broken "fellowship" with you Mama.
But she is still your mama., as you cant break this BIRTH relationship, as you are in it by BIRTH, exactly as you are a Christian and in the family of GOD by and solely based on NEW BIRTH.

4 God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit " (Hebrews 2:4 NASB bold mine)

38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil" (Acts 10:38 NASB bold mine)

They called the testimony of the Holy Spirit given through signs and wonders the lying deceitful work of the devil. Jesus said there is no forgiveness for that. Neither now, nor in the age to come. It is unpardonable. There is no forgiveness for rejecting the testimony of the Holy Spirit about Jesus. IOW, there is no forgiveness available for unbelief. as hypergrace insists. It is not covered by any sacrifice for sin in any way shape or form. It is unforgivable. Jesus did not die to cover your sin of unrepentant unbelief. No previous belief in the sacrifice of Christ will cover that sin. It is the one sin that is not, and can not be, covered by grace. The scriptures are crystal clear about this.

31“Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven." (Matthew 12:31 NASB)

Yes, just as i previously wrote......this scripture is talking to "THEY", .. Religious Jews (Pharisees) in Jesus's day, and others, who were following Jesus around....... = THEY.
You have to notice the context of some scriptures, and not always always always try to apply all scriptures as doctrine to the Church., JB.
For example, when Jesus was talking to THEY , this same group, in John 8:44, (""you are of your FATHER THE DEVIL""), He is not talking to you or the CHURCH, right now.
He is talking to THEY, back then.
So, dont always wrongly divide the word and misapply every damning scripture you can find to the NT Church, as this seems to be your consistent habit.

Can you provide a passage of scripture in this Bible discussion forum to show that it was not okay to call the Holy Spirit a lying spirit of the devil then, but it is okay to do that now and is forgivable? I see Jesus saying that what he said will not change in the future. It will always be this way. It will always be an unforgivable offense. Even in the age to come. If his warning was only for the time period and circumstances he spoke it in, why does he make the point of it not being able to be forgiven in the future, too?

Kidron. Here's a question for you....John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world....Since Jesus potentially takes away the sins of the world. Does that mean to you that no confession is necessary for the world? Please tell me who and when confession of sin is necessary.

Hi kidron
Not to get off topic, but, your belief and my belief differ as what "born again" means.
It means born from above...
See, I believe we all existed in spiritual form before Adam.

Just as the angels are sons of God, anything that God created are His.
All souls belong to Him.
There was a rebellion, Satan use to be a cherub.
1/3 of God's children, creation, followed Satan.
Could destroyed them then, but God loves His children, creation ,so much that He gave us/them a chance ,
To be born again through water, ( the sac in the womb, through flesh woman, which the water breaks when one is born)

Everyone has a spirit, good or evil,
A spirit comes into the flesh, when conceived.
Born from above....
We all, have to decide, whom to follow..
God Himself was born from above through the womb, conceived of the Holy Spirit.
He was born to shed His blood, for remission of our sins.
This flesh age. Blood had to be shed.

And His Spirit should be in you..
His Spirit would tell you to be Holy as He is Holy.
Faith without works is dead...
They go together as peas and carrots.
How you walk and behave is the reflection of your soul.

I know all thinks I'm crazy, that's ok.

If one can't understand the beginning, will never get much understanding of much.

This age He is dividing the sheep from the goats.
No rebellion in the age to come,
We are to bear fruit, or hewn down.
Everyone is judged by their fruit.

What is your idea of fruit bearing?

Let me show you this.
The issue with your posting, is that you didnt post the context of WHY Jesus said what He said to THEM at that TIME.
So, when you dont post the context, this allows you to create a pretext and a false point of view, and that is why what you are teaching does not follow the verses in context.

Here is what those Pharasees did TO JESUS, and not to the body of Christ.
Matthew 12:24
But when the Pharasees heard <>THIS<> "
All the jewish people were astonished and said, "Could this be the Son of David?""< the Pharisees freaked out, and verbally ATTACKED Jesus to His face.
So right HERE, is your misinterpretation problem JB, as this is a Jewish thing... happening over 2000 years ago.
This is Christ, who was JUST BROUGHT A DEMON POSSESSED MAN, WHO JESUS HEALED (CAST OUT THE DEVIL).
AND SO JEWS WATCHING SAID....:""""All the JEWISH people were astonished and said, "Could this be the Son of David?"
SEE IT?
"Son of David".
No American or Muslim, or Russian, or Pope, is going to hear this today = refer to Jesus doing a miracle as the "Son of David"< as that is TORAH ONLY JEWISH INFO 2000 years ago happening right then and there.
So, these Pharisees watching CHRIST cast out a DEVIL, heard the JEWISH (people) say....."COULD HE BE THE MESSIAH", (Son of David) as only a Jew in Jesus's DAY would respond to this event as a deed by the "SON OF DAVID".
This is not going to happen today, as Jesus isn't in Israel or anywhere being called the "Son of David" right after He casts a demon out of someone in front of assorted jewish people and Pharisees.
Understand??????
So then the JEWISH PHARISEES SAID TO JESUS'S FACE : """ It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.""""
So, this situation is not you or me, but it was JEWS at that time, watching it happen, and saying what they said.
And this follows John 8:44, where once again Jesus The Christ is not talking to Gentiles, but this is a specific reference, ("you are of your Father the Devil") to those religious Jewish Leaders who AT THAT TIME KNEW He was the Messiah, but were so jealous, they said what they said knowingly.
And THAT is what was happening, and this is not today, as Jesus himself in not literally walking on the earth doing miracles , being watched by Pharisees in ISRAEL, who respond to the Jewish people referring to Christ as the "Son of David" by verbally blaspheming the Holy Spirit of God by attributing at that time, and to Jesus personally, that His power was Satanic.

Kidron. Here's a question for you....John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world....Since Jesus potentially takes away the sins of the world. Does that mean to you that no confession is necessary for the world? Please tell me who and when confession of sin is necessary.

hey Chopper.

Jesus took the sin of the world away by nailing it to a Cross.
"Jesus became SIN"..
2nd Corinthians 5:21:
""""God made JESUS who had no sin TO BE SIN FOR US, so that in him ("in Christ") we might BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD""
So this verse absolutely teaches and proves that anyone CAN BECOME THE VERY RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD.
THEY CAN BECOME THIS. !

SO, This is where the shouting starts, Brother.
What is happening in this verse?
Let me tell you !!!
Its a SWAP.........praise GOD !!
God is swapping our sins for the "Righteousness of God"...... = "The GIFT of Righteousness" = SALVATION.
God is Judging Jesus > as our SIN <, and He DIES for it., and we are given the very """RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD""" , IN PLACE OF OUR FORMER SIN.
Jesus gets ALL OUR LIFETIME OF Sin, He "bore it" ALL... (""""GOD MADE JESUS TO BE OUR SIN FOR US""") .and then God gives us Jesus's sinlessness, HIS "RIGHTEOUSNESS" .
SEE THE SWAP ???
That is SALVATION.
That is God putting you "in Christ", and your sins ON HIM........AND JESUS DIES FOR THEM ALL !!
Its a SWAP, its a transfer of our sin to Jesus and Jesus's Sinlessness and Righteousness into and unto all BELIEVERS.
See that word "MIGHT"......in the verse...?????
That """we (humans) MIGHT become""".......that is a reference to the ONE CONDITION GOD REQUIRES OF US to eternally become "GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS."".
You have to BELIEVE IT, FAITH, FAITH, FAITH, Romans 4:5 """ OUR FAITH IS COUNTED AS GOD's RIGHTEOUSNESS""".. as that is the "might" condition..... So then WHEN you Believe, (Trust Christ)(HAVE FAITH), the "might" becomes a DONE...A FINISHED..= BORN AGAIN = REDEEMED = SAVED.

Good reply Brother, something to shout about for sure. Now, after Salvation, after I'm imputed with the righteousness of the Christ, is there ever a time, when I'm deceitful & lie to my Wife, that I need to make confession to her, ask for her forgiveness and God's for disobeying a clear statue or command of His?

By what you are saying here is that even though I am a Spirit filled child of God through the Spiritual rebirth of John 3:3-6 by that of Romans 10:9,10 I could actually decide to denounce that of the Holy Spirit thinking him to be a liar and I will still be saved?

I love you and I love God. Because of my salvation, I have certain understandings; maybe not so much for some but, unlike before, none the less for me now. After salvation comes works of the spirit (you in me and I in you, without me you can do nothing"). One of the many "first fruits" that I experience is a repentant heart, an attribute that I did not have B.C. . But like any human in a carnal world, I am not perfect and I mess up all the time. When I see my sin, I am very repentant and I go God immediately. Why is it, I am not sure because God surely knows my deeds before I do them..:nono but, like being drawn to him, I am drawn for remorse and repentance, thanks be to God! My repentance, because he knows me so well, is not so much not to ask for forgiveness but to thank him for what he did for me on the cross over 2000 years ago; even more so before the foundation, he foreknew my disposition toward him me and predestine me!
I am so bad that I go to him almost daily and I am reminded of and thank him for Roman 8:1!

You are so right as we will always fall at times even though we suppose to crucify this flesh daily as God knows the areas we are weak in and helps us through His Holy Spirit as we admit our wrongdoings and ask God for help in those areas. Mine is my tongue that likes to lash out in anger at times and say things I know I should not. James talks a lot about the tongue and how it can set a course of fire if we do not tame it, James 3:5,6.

Welcome to Cf.net my new friend. Hey, nice fish. 5+lbs ?

Excellent question.

Here are the 2 left turns that a lot of Christians make.
This is a bit "wordy", but i hope it helps...

First they get saved, then they become convinced that they had to stay saved, of their own effort.
So, what is happening here, is, they are not seeing that "D" on the word SAVE(D).
Its the same one that is in Jesus's mouth when He said "it is FINISHE(D).
This means DONE, completed, ended.
So, Salvation, to give a simple analogy, is like a present, its a "gift".
I think of it as the Robe of Christ's Blood, that is put on us, when we Trust him to save us.
This is how i think of "in Christ".....that is, we are IN HIS BLOOD...
His Blood is COVERING US............as this is the "power is the blood of the Lamb".
So, a lot of Christians understood that they are lost and needed to be saved, and they Trusted Christ, and God takes them, and then.....
they are not taught or discipled so that they understand what it actually is that has become them.
As, "God's Righteousness" has become them.
See, God cant accept us unless we are Sinless, as no sinner who is not made righteous is allowed to live with God and Christ and the rest of the sinless righteous family.
So, God had to solve this for us... He had to create a way for a sinner to become righteous so that this would allow them to be where He exists for eternity.....

ENTER THE <>CROSS<> and the BLOOD of CHRIST that swaps God's righteousness for our sins by FAITH.
So, thats the plan....thats Redemption and Atonement.
"At ONE ment"......this word means to be "one with"....that is "marriage", that is "holy union", that is our new birth position with the ONE True God.
This is Salvation., and God does it for us as we cant do it for ourselves.

So the left turn many believers makes following their completed salvation.... is to try to connect TO SALVATION....the word > DISCIPLESHIP.
This is the error of trying to "stay saved" by discipleship, instead of living a holy life because we ARE saved by the Blood already.
GOD does the SAVING, the BlOOD DOES THE REDEEMING < and AFTER AFTER AFTER that has been completed, we are SAVED.
So, that is that...
Done deal.
THEN, "discipleship"......that is not connected to GOD saving, but is connected to US DOING, AFTER we are saved, enters our lives.
They are connected, but they are not the same.
Its like......a person signs up for the Army, and THEN wears the uniform and marches.
So, they are not in the army because they march and wear the uniform....they are in the army because they SIGNED UP and were ACCEPTED.
So, GOD accepts us, he SAVES US, based on the CROSS allowing us to be accepted. (by Faith)(Once).
So, our acceptance by God FROM THEN ON, is not based on what we do AFTER (discipleship), but rather its based on what Christ did for us that God applied to us that SAVED us already.
So, following our acceptance into "God's Army Family" based on the Blood of Jesus, we then wear the uniform and march = Discipleship.
One follows the other, however both are not the same..... and where a Christian gets into a hard theological place is by connecting them to try to STAY saved.
Thats the snag.....thats the "Legalism".....thats the "joyless Christian experience" that is not enjoyed by so many believers.

Now the reason you tell your wife you are sorry, is because this allows the relationship to be restored to harmony and peace.
And that is exaclty what keeping our lives clean before God, does, it keeps us in spiritual harmony and peace.
Its allows us to be in a peace filled love relationship with Him. (spiritual harmony)
And as you know, you are not divorced if your offend your wife, but you are no longer in peace, BROTHER, till you tell her you are sorry..
Right:)
So, the peace that we have in our relationship with God, is broken when we blow it, when we mess up, when we do that thing that we KNEW not to do, yet did.
So, then......that conscious in you starts to humm, starts to sting, and till you make it right with God, its going to hurt. .. and there will be no peace and no harmony in the relationship.
The relationship is not broken, its not divorced.... its just lost its peace and harmony.
However, a Loving Father, just like a loving wife, ......when you tell them you messed up..........what happens?
Peace and Harmony returns to the relationship.
So THAT is why you would say you are sorry to both.

By what you are saying here is that even though I am a Spirit filled child of God through the Spiritual rebirth of John 3:3-6 by that of Romans 10:9,10 I could actually decide to denounce that of the Holy Spirit thinking him to be a liar and I will still be saved?

If a Christian, who has the "mind of Christ", according to Paul, when they are walking in the spirit, and are always "in Christ", (based on being born again), ...If this Christian flips out and obsesses on something that becomes a "bug" in their head, such as you are describing, then that is only the adamic nature "mind", becoming the rudder of their gospel ship.
But, the ship is SAVED because its always eternally Floating on the Sea Of Christ's Blood, which only goes one way = takes the ship to heaven, no matter what you are thinking, today, vs, 20 years from now.

A lot of Christians are sane as a judge but are out of their "right" "Christian" mind.
However, all that has nothing to do with the fact of Salvation, that is what God did for you, when He SAVED you.
See that word "saved".
Its means saved, it does not mean, kinda or temporary or how i feel about it.
See, your opinion does not save you, even if your opinion should become your god.
You cant change the fact of Salvation once its applied, but you can ruin your life, and your walk with God.
You cant stop being a Son of God, but you can live a life that is an unholy disaster and a literal sorrow to you and everyone who loves you.
This is because "free will" down not end just because you become one of God's own.
