This is weird.... my screen is saying that I "liked" some of the posts on this thread that I hadn't even read yet let alone "liked".
In fact, I have no opinion on the subject.

I am sorry if you don't believe God's word when he says to look outside and look up for the signs of his coming. The bible speaks to the natural world as being indicators for the signs of the times. So when we can proof by science a phenomenon that has been linked to 2 of the most recent significant events in Israel's history, it is debunked. Time will tell I guess, time will tell. Or is the problem linking it with Israel...??? Or with the Feasts...??? What if, and just a big what if. What if this tetrad were to fall on Christmas and Easter in successive years. Would that garner more attention from the Christian community then?
What exactly are the signs of His coming that you are looking for? The wise men clearly knew exactly what to look for in the skies as far as the signs of His first coming, edited

Ryan When John said Behold the Lamb of God he was not talking about a 4 legged sheep. Because folks are in a different place in there walk with the Lord doesn't mean they do not believe. moderator

We should always have the oil ready for our lamps.

But... given that the jewish calendar uses moon phases as basic cycle, and lunar eclipses are based on the same defining element, it's not surprising there'll be repeating patterns (like blood moons on holidays during consecutive years). So maybe this correlation between blood moons, historical events and jewish holidays is just not as meaningfull as on may think.

This whole thing reeks of astrology.

Claudia , you will find that judiasm and the proper looking at the bible's numbers are a bit strange at first. ,3,7 and 40 and all are in the gemaria and the jews talk about this a lot and connect it to ad 70. but yet they will not accept jesus but they do know that tish ma bav was indeed a judgement.

I think you might be confusing astrology with astronomy. Astronomy is a science that studies everything outside of the earth's atmosphere, such as planets, stars, asteroids, galaxies; and the properties and relationships of those celestial bodies. Astronomers base their studies on research and observation. Astrology on the other hand, is the belief that the positioning of the stars and planets affect the way events occur on earth. If you're interested in the solar system and the planets, other celestial objects like asteroids and comets, other galaxies and the rest of the universe, what makes up space, and the possibility of alien life or space travel, Astronomy is the field you're considering.

This is a science, astronomy. It is not superstition, nor only bible prophecy. Tetrads are not very common. Rare in fact, and to have a tetrad occur on all of the Lords holys days...well the chances of that are astronomical. It has only happened 3 times in the last 500 years. Each time that it happened, something big and biblical happened. The first one was the Spanish inqusition where all of the jews or christians were booted out of the country, the second in 1948 when Israel became a nation again, and the last was in 1967 when Israel took Jerusalem back. Another one is coming, this is scientific fact. We do not know exactly what will happen...but I bet you something does!

What exactly are the signs of His coming that you are looking for? The wise men clearly knew exactly what to look for in the skies as far as the signs of His first coming,

Revelation 6:12-13
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind./(KJV)

Joel 2:31
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come./(KJV)

Acts 2:20
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:/(KJV)

Now, this is not date setting as one post suggested. It is a sign of the season only, which is said that we will know. This is told to us that it shall be, not the date, but the season. Again:

Genesis 1:14
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:/(KJV)

If you look up seasons in the Hebrew it say for an appointed time. Not for a date, not for an hour, not for summer or winter. It says many times in scripture about the sun going dark, and the moon turning as blood. This says to me that it something important that the Lord wants us to know...so we can be ready. Don't take my word for it! Do some research for yourself. It is not good to knee jerk about scripture because of preconceived notions or beliefs. Knowledge will be increased in the last days, and the Lord is showing us more than He used to. If anyone hasn't seen new things in scripture or tweaked their belief slightly within the last ten years...I suggest two things, either one, you haven't been studying at all, or...check your pulse, you may be dead. There's big events on the horizon my brother and sisters. It behooves us all to search those scriptures and pray.

Just lurking, but I can see that some people don't understand the importance of the Hebrew calendar, the positions of the heavenly bodies and their relation to the feasts and prophecy. Think of it this way: It's just "big clock hands" in the heavens that Yahweh told man to use for appointments, yet nobody has trouble keeping a doctor's appointment or to catch a plane and think its a form of astrology. If you ask me, it's the calendar we all should use, not for just characters like me.

God set the feast days. God set the heavenlys . Some folks view the " Jewish days" as very important... Some folks view them as important as to the birth, death resurrection etc of Christ.

I for one am very happy we dont all think, look, speak etc alike...

That may be true, as some folks don't use watches, some like to keep their own schedule, while others are time freaks. But whatever they are, they all have to go by the airport time and schedule or else miss the plane no matter what they believe or how they operate.

will the pro moon types post the sources form the gemeria. I bet the jews link this to the caballah. it would find it really odd if they don't since mentioning of the feasts all has the oral law in it , and quoted. ie channukah. channukah goes back to the creation day according the jews.

the gemeria is the jewish numerological system. we use the 666 from that. the caballah is the part of the oral traditions that used the caballah to see things.the caballah has a book to it ,the Zohar, and also uses numbers and events to link things to god.this very thread seems to have that nature to it. ie the number of the angel of the lord is 314. this is linked to the el -shaddai. its also is linked to the moshiac(messiah). the numbers 7,70,3,40 etc are all cabbalistic numbers.of course theres more to that. including the pictographic letters. ie Yod. the yod in the caballah is linked to the name of the Lord and has the meaning of it all comes from God and all things have a point which we started things.

:thinking i get some of it Jason... thanks.... almost 60 years ago i heard a speaker talking on the numbers in Hebrew language ... What all he said sure hasn't stayed in this old head but the thought or idea stuck...

Isn't there a number game called sevivonim, that's played at Hannukah? or am I thinking of something else?

Blessings.
