Consider the Flood and Attributes of God

Respectfully, you are not rightly understanding John 6:44: No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
This statement can be declared positively: All men drawn by the Father will come to me and I will infallibly save them.
I have already proven the power to draw is coterminous for both Father and Son.
Thus, the drawing power of the Father and Son will always ultimately result in coming to Jesus in saving faith.
Your testimony exactly coincides with this truth. The drawing power of God is always ultimately efficacious to those to whom it is applied.
Those who die never having come to faith in Jesus, were never drawn by the Father and/or the Son.
This is due to their reprobation, having never been decreed to receive the gracious gift of saving faith.

Jesus' statement: And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me, must be understood in context. Proper exegesis takes time and study to rightly interpret Scripture. Not all men will take the necessary time or make the necessary effort to do so. I applaud your godly effort to question my posts in order to gain a better understanding!
For those who have never heard the gospel, including the mentally impaired, the cannibal tribes, infants who died shortly after birth, they still have a conscience, which bears witness the secrets in their hearts, and God will judge accordingly on an individual basis.

For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel. (Rom. 2:12-16)

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. (Rev. 20:11-13)

So God loved all He drowned in the Flood, as well as those in Hell?
Yes Iconbusters.
God loved all of His creation...
especially man.

Genesis 1:31
31 God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was
very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
God said what He made was good throughout Genesis 1.
After creating man,,,God said it was very good.
We should believe what God said about His creation.

Why would God make something He would hate?

God love mankind so much that, knowing man would fail, God gave to man a way out:

Genesis 3:15
15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel."

God IS LOVE.
But God is also a just God.
God loves mankind.
But He hates the evil they do.

When you have responded to my previous arguments in which I have patiently laid out Scripture to expose the most serious errors which you and others propose, I will then respond. Until then, you are merely attempting to restart the thread without acknowledging the previous 6 pages of arguments, as if they didn't exist. It doesn't take a Doctorate in Religion to understand God's creation BEFORE THE FALL OF MAN was called good but was NEVER called GOOD AFTER THE FALL.

You're right, I don't read each and every post.
My conversation is with YOU, but no problem.

You have laid out scripture....
So did I....

So, IOW, God said everything He created was very good.
But, alas, God created some things that were not very good, I suppose.

The following is how God felt about some of His creatures:

He loved us enough to plan for our salvation:
1 John 4:14
14 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
John 3:16
16“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Ephesians 2:4-5

4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved ),

And the OT is replete with quotations stating that God loves and will take care of his people.

For those who have never heard the gospel, including the mentally impaired, the cannibal tribes, infants who died shortly after birth, they still have a conscience, which bears witness the secrets in their hearts, and God will judge accordingly on an individual basis.
The Christian doctrine of original sin inherited from Adam denies inherent righteousness, as well as the works righteousness of man (Romans 5:12-14; Romans 10:3-5; Isaiah 64:6).
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. The Book of Life is the Lamb's Book of Life (Rev. 13:8). It consists of the Elect believers written in the Book before the foundation of the world. You neglected the last verse: And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. No believers are thrown into the Lake of Fire. Regarding the mentally impaired and infants, we must leave them to the righteous holy judgment of the Lord (Genesis 18:25).

And the OT is replete with quotations stating that God loves and will take care of his people.
'His people' are His chosen, His Elect for whom Christ died, making atonement for their sin. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel (Rev. 9:6).
So, IOW, God said everything He created was very good.
But, alas, God created some things that were not very good, I suppose.
The Christian doctrine of the Fall of Man declares the perfect and flawless creation lost its perfection when sin entered the creation, resulting in the spiritual and corporal death of man and all creation. However, the inherent original righteousness of man did not include the ability not to ever sin through disobedience to God. He was given free will to choose to obey or not. The result of Adam's bad choice affects all his progeny. Man cannot but sin. We sin because we are sinners by nature. Regeneration by the Spirit returns Christians to a state of being able to choose not to sin. This would include the ability and power to choose to follow Christ. A more detailed explanation can be found here.

Ephesians 2:4-5

Those whom God loves He saves. His great love is revealed in His amazing grace.
To declare God loves all mankind yet cannot and does not save all mankind is a serious slander against the unfailing love, grace, wisdom, power and holiness of God. God's saving mercy is extended to all He loves. He loses none.

The Christian doctrine of original sin inherited from Adam denies inherent righteousness, as well as the works righteousness of man (Romans 5:12-14; Romans 10:3-5; Isaiah 64:6).

There is no "inherent righteousness" - "there's no one righteous. No, not even one." There's only original sin which ORIGINATED from Adam. An inconvenient, even offensive yet biblical fact is that we're NOT directly made in the image of God, but in the image of Adam - a sinner, whose original image of God was tainted by sin. Jesus was sinless because He was the second Adam made directly in the image of God, not indirectly in the image of Adam. We do not bear Adam's personal sin, we bear the consequence of his sin which entered the world through him. Keep in mind that while Eve was deceived by the serpent, Adam wasn't, he knew better, he made a conscious and informed decision to act against God's instruction.

This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. (Gen. 5:1-3)

Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned. (Rom. 5:12)
The Book of Life is the Lamb's Book of Life (Rev. 13:8). It consists of the Elect believers written in the Book before the foundation of the world. As I said, God will judge accordingly on an individual basis, not group identities, it is not our place to speculate. You neglected God's tendency of picking and saving the most unlikely people, whom you think as the "elect believers" may be modern day pharisees and sadduccees, whom you think as mentally impaired or morally corrupt may be modern day tax collector or Roman centurion, we'll never know whose names are really written in that book, conventional wisdom may be deceitful.

Yes, that is what I declared as to the fundamental truth of the Christian doctrine of original sin.
There's only original sin which ORIGINATED from Adam.
Yes, that is orthodox Christian teaching.

Yes, that is orthodox Christian teaching.
Jesus was sinless because He was the second Adam made directly in the image of God, not indirectly in the image of Adam.
Jesus was not made in the image of God because He is God. However, Scripture says Christ was made of flesh, that is, a man (John 1:14), a descendant of David (Romans 1:3), in the likeness of sinful flesh (Romans 8:3), yet without sin (2 Cor. 5:21). Thus, the orthodox Christian doctrine of the hypostatic -ὑπόστασις- union of Christ: fully God and fully man; two distinct natures, unmixed, united in one person. Yes, He is the second Adam, meaning He was sent to accomplish what the first Adam did not do: live a sin free life in perfect obedience to God the Father, thus, qualifying as a sin offering on behalf of His people, the Elect of God. There is also implied the Christian doctrine of Imputation, whereby Adam's first sin of disobedience in the Garden was imputed to all men, as if they, too, had committed that sin with Adam because they were/are all in his loins as his progeny, though not yet born. Romans 5:12-14 highlights the fact that all men died, even though there was no law prior to Moses which they broke. Rather, they died because they were imputed [charged] with committing the sin of Adam, though they had not literally committed the same sin as Adam. This truth is also taught in Hebrews 7:9-10, by the example of Levi in the loins of Abraham. This principle of Imputation is clearly taught in 2 Cor. 5:21 where we are told Christ's righteousness is credited to our account, while our sins are charged to Christ, who paid them in full.
We do not bear Adam's personal sin, we bear the consequence of his sin which entered the world through him
By this statement, you contradict the Scriptures I cited above.
Keep in mind that while Eve was deceived by the serpent, Adam wasn't, he knew better, he made a conscious and informed decision to act against God's instruction.
Yes, that is why he is charged with the sin, as we read in Romans 5 and 1 Timothy 2:14.

I never said otherwise. Nor have I ever speculated. However, relying on a deathbed conversion I believe is counter to the whole testimony of God, primarily because God is not mocked (Galatians 6:7), and repentance is the gift of God alone (Acts 11:18; 2 Timothy 2:25).

Thus far you have neglected to respond to the central theme of my post: God saves only those whom He loves. His love cannot fail to save. Those who died in the Flood, as well as those who occupy Hell, He never loved, nor did He ever will to save them.

I agree with your second paragraph.
I read in the OT that God is "sorry" that man does not follow Him.
He repeatedly asks the scattered Jews to return to worshipping only Him.
God states that He desires faith and not sacrifice.

If you mean that God loves HIS CHILDREN in a special way,,,
then I agree.

To declare God loves all mankind yet cannot and does not save all mankind is a serious slander against the unfailing love, grace, wisdom, power and holiness of God. God's saving mercy is extended to all He loves. He loses none.
Why should God save all mankind because He loves all mankind?
This is equivalent to stating that God desires all men to be saved....1 Tim 2:4

But not all men are saved.
Is it because God is unable to save all men?

No. It's because God is a loving God but He's also a just God and will save only those who choose to follow Him, obey Him...be His children.

Man freely chooses to listen to God after he has "heard" Him.
God is just and will save those that desire to spend eternity with him.

God will not force anyone to be saved...
Even though His desire would be so.

Christianity is not universalism.

See, this is where our difference is. I admit it's my fault, I should be more accurate - Adam was MADE in the image of God, while Jesus incarnated in the image of God; Adam might start off as an adult, Jesus on the other hand as an infant. However, both Jesus and Adam started off in a sinless state, as both started off in the image of God, that's why Jesus was sinless. He wasn't biologically related to Mary, Joseph or James, but born of the Holy Spirit. Later on though, He did succeed at what Adam had failed, and he took all the sins of the world upon himself on the cross. The point is, sinless state is primarily about origin, not behavior.
By this statement, you contradict the Scriptures I cited above.
No I didn't. Each person is judged by God for their own actions.

The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. (Ez. 18:20)

The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. (Rev. 20:13)
Yes, that is why he is charged with the sin, as we read in Romans 5 and 1 Timothy 2:14.
I pointed this out to rebuke the false teachings which attributed original sin to the forbidden fruit or to the human body itself. The former is a conflation with Pandora's box, the latter is greek gnosticism.

God loved the world (Jn. 3:16) and wished all to be saved (1 Tim. 2:4-5), but now all wish to be saved by God. All who end up in hell went there willingly, God didn't send them, they love darkness rather than light.

I agree with your second paragraph.
Please explain why you disagree with my first paragraph. Please use Scripture as your authority.
I read in the OT that God is "sorry" that man does not follow Him.
An excellent explanation of Genesis 6:6 is found here.
If you mean that God loves HIS CHILDREN in a special way,,,
then I agree.
My entire post centers on the postulate that God saves all whom He loves and loses none, except those He does not love. Your statement places an unbiblical distinction to God's love when the issue here concerns salvation. In effect, you are saying God loves His children enough to save them but does not love the rest of mankind enough to save them.

Why should God save all mankind because He loves all mankind?
This is equivalent to stating that God desires all men to be saved....1 Tim 2:4
The entire point of Christ's mission was to save lost sinners. He selflessly took on the form of a servant and endured all the malicious events leading up to His inhumane crucifixion because of His LOVE for His people, His family, His bride, who are worldwide (John 3:16). Christ, who cannot lie, stated He lost none (John 17:12), which was the will of the Father (John 6:39). Christ always obeys and prays the will of the Father (John 6:38; John 11:42; Luke 23:34).

Considering these truths, 1 Timothy 2:4, is not a contradiction: God desires/wills/decrees ALL His Elect people be saved, no matter what their class or status. God's decretive will cannot be thwarted (Dan 4:35).

No. It's because God is a loving God but He's also a just God and will save only those who choose to follow Him, obey Him...be His children.
Yes, God is just. That is why God could not allow man to escape justice with a simple, "I forgive you." Out of LOVE the Word agreed to take on the form of man and offer Himself a sacrifice for His Chosen. Christ's crucifixion has a double meaning: It denotes the LOVE of God for His Elect who will never suffer the punishment Christ experienced; one which they rightly deserved, while, on the other hand, it also denotes the horrendous, unspeakable punishment awaiting non-believers.

Jesus explains in John 15:16 that He is the one doing the choosing, not man.

The natural ability of man to obey and follow the will of God is a myth. This is why God must change the heart, nature and will of man through regeneration (Jeremiah 31:31 ff., Ezekiel 34;26 ff., John 3:3).
God will not force anyone to be saved...
Of course not. Whoever would say such an inane thing? God sovereignly changes the stubborn will of His Elect so that they willingly come to Christ (John 3:8; John 6:44, 65).
Christianity is not universalism.
That is correct. Christianity is God's LOVE in action by grace.

He wasn't biologically related to Mary, Joseph or James, but born of the Holy Spirit.
You have touched upon a controversy that spans back to early Christianity. In your view, Mary apparently did not supply the egg necessary for fertilization. She was merely the gestational surrogate, not the legal birth mother. As such, she is not biologically related to the child she is carrying. Nor is she considered the mother. However, Hebrews 2:14 disagrees with that view: Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he [Christ] also himself likewise took part of the same. A concise history of this controversy and the Christian response may be found here. Although this issue may be central to your theology, I find other issues to be of greater importance and value, so I will not spend any time in debating the point.
he took all the sins of the world upon himself on the cross.
Had that have been the case, then Christ made atonement for all, paid the sin debt for all, satisfied justice for all. No man, therefore, could be judged again in Hell, for Christ took his judgment. The doctrine of 'Double Jeopardy' applies to divine justice as well to human justice. Please cite the Scripture upon which you base your assertion.
The point is, sinless state is primarily about origin, not behavior.
Yes. God is and always will be sinless. Adam was made in the image of God by God. The Son of God, being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, Hebrews 1:3, was always God before and after His incarnation as Jesus Christ.

(Rev. 20:13)
The Scriptures I cited in Romans 5 refer to man's first death. All die because all have sinned; even infants, who have inherited the imputed guilt of Adam's first transgression. However, there is the second death (Rev. 20:14). It is here that their own personal evil works are judged.
God loved the world (Jn. 3:16) and wished all to be saved (1 Tim. 2:4-5), but now all wish to be saved by God. All who end up in hell went there willingly, God didn't send them, they love darkness rather than light.
This statement of yours sums up the theology of many professing Christians. I started this thread to counter this viewpoint because it casts aspersions upon the holy, righteous, infinitely wise and infinitely powerful God whose perfection is such that He can never fail to accomplish that which He wills to perform, in exactly the way and timing He wills it be done.
Think for a moment: God loves you, knows you cannot swim, knows your impotence to save yourself, yet does nothing to jump in and actually pull you to safety. Instead, He throws you a lifeline to which you must swim or catch but can't. This is the scenario believed by many. God does all He can. The rest is up to you.

The Bible teaches of a God who is quite different. He takes matters into His own hands because He knows man is unable and unwilling to do anything to save himself. He sends a Savior before anyone. His Savior fully satisfied the just demands of a holy God. He paid in full the sin debt of all those who were given Him by the Father. They are freely given the gifts, via the Holy Spirit, needed to believe on Christ, as well as those needed to perform the tasks God had planned for them to accomplish. They, in turn, tell others of Jesus Christ who turned them from sin and Satan to love God and holiness.

However, many do not wish to hear the truth. Many refuse to believe God's saving grace is specific to those He loves. They refuse to believe that it is God's free will to choose who to love or not to love.... who to gift with saving grace and who not to gift with saving grace.

They refuse to believe grace is not owed anyone. Thus, no injustice is done when grace is withheld. However, justice, on the other hand, is owed all. Christ paid justice for His people, His chosen, His Elect, His bride. They will all be with God in Heaven. That is His promise, which cannot be broken (Romans 8:29:30).

You have touched upon a controversy that spans back to early Christianity. In your view, Mary apparently did not supply the egg necessary for fertilization. As long as Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit, not holy sperm, and as long as Jesus was incarnated in the image of God, not image of Adam, he's not biologically related to Mary. Heb. 2:14 is merely speaking about his fleshly nature, that he wasn't just a revelation of God in human form, but incarnation of God in human form.
That's not "doubly jeopardy", but "substitutional atonement", see 2 Cor. 5:21. Jesus did atone for all, but not all have their sins atoned, because ultimately only believers are atoned and saved, unbelievers are NOT, they're condemned, as they will be judged for their own sins, this distinction was made in Jn. 3, it's the Lord's own words, not my assertion. If you take a Calvinistic view that believers and unbelievers are predestined, though, that'd be your assertion.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Cor. 5:21)
He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (Jn. 3:18)
Yes. God is and always will be sinless. Adam was made in the image of God by God. The Son of God, being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, Hebrews 1:3, was always God before and after His incarnation as Jesus Christ.
You see, although we've been taught, encouraged and reaffirmed that we're made in the image of God, the truth is, Adam was a directly copy of God, Seth was a copy of a copy, Enosh was a copy of a copy of a copy, we've been drifting further and further away from the original. You may dismiss this as irrelevant or a far stretch, but as a matter of fact, just think about it, how weak today's millennials and Gen Zers are, compared to the Boomers and the silent generation - physically, mentally and spiritually. That's what made Jesus special as he was in the original image of God, he as the second Adam took the first Adam's flesh and blood without sin.
The Scriptures I cited in Romans 5 refer to man's first death. All die because all have sinned; even infants, who have inherited the imputed guilt of Adam's first transgression. However, there is the second death (Rev. 20:14). It is here that their own personal evil works are judged.
What all have inherited is Adam's sinful nature, as all are made in his image. We do not inherit his guilt, though, his guilt is on his own, and ours on us. "Original Sin" is just a doctrine that explains the ORIGIN of sin.
