Could the world end in 12/21/2012?

Could the world end in 12/12/2012 as it's predicted. I don't believe that because only God knows the time when the world will come into the end, but it's still interesting. What do you think about it?

So the world end will be postponed again unfortunately. Sinthesis is being ready that's why. :sad

I had heard reports that many archaeologists and historians think the time estimation is off concerning the Mayan calendar, as much as 100 years or more. So, it is possible that the event the calendar, which could be as benign as the calendar starting over, was portending has either happened already, or will not happen for another 100 years or more.

So glad the Mayans are around to ask about these things.

Obviously the world will not end in 12/21/2012 because there are NOT any prediction by Mayans. It's just the Mayan calendar which is starting over and it means new beginning for Mayans. The social network, Internet have created the hoax based on a calendar which has terrified the world but closer we get to that date more obviously is that it won't happen. However I do believe that the world will come into the end someday, because I do believe in God and it's cleary said in Matthew 24:36. Although it could be the date 12/21/2012 but I doubt because many of the predictions in book of Revelations haven't still happened. :p God bless you all, :amen

On 12/21/2012 all those Mayans will have to go buy a new calendar, because their old one expired. The simultaneous movement of all Mayans and Maya-descendants from their home to their calendar-store will shake the crust of the earth, destabilising it, and causing earth quakes, volcano eruptions, the altered earth gravitation will make the moon fall off its orbit and crash into the earth. Thanks to all the crashing and shaking in the earth crust the buried dead will be riled up and on 12/22/2012 the 12/21 surviors are facing a massive zombie apocalypse.
Christmas gets cancelled. That's the good news.

Well, as long as nothing serious is going to happen.

that happened in ad 70. jesus died for his covenant and was cut off from his people.

Jesus died around ad 30/33, so was the physical temple not a temple of God from
Pentecost to ad 70?

If not then why did the apostles and early disciples, seem to still give recognition to it?

Sorry if the above is a derail, but as to the OP, I doubt very much it will ‘end’ then.

The thing to consider though, is that God said He would send strong delusion. If things got a bit hairy scary around that date, then many would/could be persuaded away from the truth.

It's all in Revelation. It talks about the beginning of the tribulation period when the treaty is signed.
The Temple in Israel has to be rebuilt also is the way I read it. Then it gets desecrated by the Anti-Christ.
The Revelation does not speak of a treaty nor will you find antichrist there.
