count our blessings

OK. So, I've come to realize that I need to show The Lord more gratitude. Here's things I'm thankful for: my family, my health, my increasing normalcy, my saving knowledge of and growing faith in Christ Jesus, my (apparently) restored intelligence, my older+wiser Pentecostal friend, Liberty University, and...I'm starting to realize...the "trials and tribulations" I've been through since I got saved. I'm not super happy about the last one, but I will say that I've prayed more than I would have otherwise and I've probably grown more, in a shorter period of time, than I would have otherwise.

So...what are some things you're grateful for?

I think the older you get and the more mature you become you tend to appreciate things more. We tend to neglect and take the little things for granted. Like they say, it's only when you lose it, do you actually realize how important it is.

You have covered everything that I'm thankful for, I would just say the strength to wake up everyday and that I can continue my journey as a Christian, it's definitely not always easy but to just keep going..

I"m grateful to God for showing me you, the trials you've been through and still go through, to see the change in your life in the short time you've been on the forum, to see how strong your faith is and how much of a good testimony you have become to all of us.
Praise God!
He can and will do a work in our lives if we ask him and let him.
Amen!

The "trials and tribulations" part is what he is working out with me. And it isn't even major tribulations. This morning my son who is 8, took a number two in a toilet that was already plugged.

I actually was grateful that it went down after plunging a few times. Even stupid little things like that I am starting to be grateful.
