Covid Vaccine, a Gospel imperative

My concerns are I don’t want to be injected with with something that could potentially weaken my heart of cause a stroke, heart attack or seizure.

The risk of getting the Virus is less than 1/10 of 1 percent.


If I should get it, I will take my chances with prayer and what my doctor prescribes. There are way too many unknowns, and serious side effects being reported for me to trust it.

It s truly a media driven ”pandemic”.

For me, this translates to, this is a politically driven pandemic.

In reality, the politicians are capitalizing on the pandemic generating rhetoric further dividing our great nation. It’s pathetic, which is why I’ve banned politics on this site. Neither party gets free air time for their tripe here.

Actually I have no fear; no fear whatsoever of getting COVID.

I have been cautious, but not fearful. The reality is this though. It’s not if you get Covid, it’s when. If you have not already had Covid, you will. It’s inevitable.

Do you remember the first cases of Covid on that cruise ship in Florida? Do you remember that older couple where the husband was deathly such and his wife had no symptoms? It goes to show that when you get Covid, the effect can be not even knowing you have it all the way to Pnemonia that will kill you.

and my wife and family have peace, great peace about our decision to not take the vaccine. No fear at all.

It’s an individual decision and we each weigh our risks differently. Personally, my Mom was dying and I did not want to risk getting Covid and taking a chance of it turning into Covid Pnemonia and missing time with her before her death, or missing her funeral.
We all reason things differently. We need to support one another in this area. Just like I’m supporting you not getting the vaccine. It’s your right but much more than that, you know best how to make decisions for yourself.

Not sure about the heart problems, but eye problems, yes. My girlfriend has to have her eyes checked by an eye specialist every six months looking for protein buildup from being on hydroxychloroquine (plaquenil) every day as part of her medications to combat sjogren's syndrome.

This happened to my wife. She was taking alternative medicine (you know the ones) and she still got Pnemonia. She went in on day 7 to a less than qualified hospital and they released her 4 hours later. The next day she was on deaths doorstep and I had her taken to a qualified hospital (I was across the country with my dying Mother) I am thankful she did not go on a vent.
The nurse and doctor are the ones who told me that this is a predictable virus. They said day 8 is a deciding factor. Thankfully my wife only needed oxygen and did not have to go on a vent. It gets really real when you don’t know if your wife is going to survive.

Of course people have the right to refuse the vaccine.

Just as they have the right to go out into public when they have the measles.

But both choices merit strong rebuke - it is decidedly anti-gospel to needlessly place others at risk.

And if you are vaccinated, how is that putting you at risk or any one else if it is that effective? What did people do before vaccinations, didn't they start in the late 1900's? My church is mostly anti vax, and I tell you these people do not get sick. I am not anti vax, but I question what vaccines do to a human being's natural immunity. I'm taking vitamins to boost my natural immune system. If I need to wear a mask, I will. But a decision to not get a shot in my temple is not anti-gospel. The gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ. By His stripes we are healed. This does not mean just salvation, but physical and mental health as well. How many scriptures talk of Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals and saves? Where is the faith and prayer of the saints? Those hands and fingers need to be joined together in prayer, not pointed at anybody else. God knows every thought and intention of the heart.

I surely hope twenty thousand vaccine threads don't start popping up. It is as anti gospel as politics in my opinion. It just feels like another "you are right, I am wrong, accusatory." It is a personal decision and weighed personally by everybody.

When I've read this in the past I've always thought how God protected his people from the Black Plague.
The Law taught them to be clean and kosher and this protected them from the plague.

Today we are in the presence of pestilence and plague.
Be safe however you can, but ultimately, put your trust in God.
