Scripture Of The Day - TRAINING OUR EYES
ZZ - 670.jpg
1 Corinthians 13:13 - "So faith, hope, love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."

The power of love is the greatest power in the universe. It's beyond defeat. It never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8).
When you release love into a situation, you have released God into it.
When you release love into a situation, Jesus becomes responsible for its success.

AFFIRMATION:

I release love every moment into every situation, every prayer and every thought until it totally consumes my life. Love strengthens me and casts out every fear that has robbed me of God's greater blessings.

Colossians 1:12,13 - "Giving thanks unto the Father ...Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son."

Many believers limit God without even realizing it by training their eyes on the limited resources of this world rather than the unlimited riches of God's Kingdom.
Their faith fails when they think of the troubled economy on the earth or of the scarcity that surrounds them.

The Bible says God has "delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son." To be translated means to be taken out of one place and put into another.
In other words, your citizenship is not primarily of this earth...you are first and foremost a citizen of the Kingdom of God. That means this planet doesn't have any right to dictate to you whether your needs are met or not. The Bible says God will meet your needs according to His riches in glory! (Philippians 4:19)

AFFIRMATIONS:

I wake up to the fact that I've been translated out of a world of poverty into a kingdom of abundance.

Heaven's unlimited resources are available to me!

Scripture Of The Day - A TIME TO ACCELERATE

"If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?" - Jeremiah 12:5 NIV
Have you been stumbling? Have you been stumbling with the footmen? Well the Lord is wanting to upgrade you to the horses. It's time for you to compete with the horses! The Lord is moving you up from running with the footmen to now racing with the horses.
God is about to bring you up to the next level of things. He's bringing you to a whole new ball game. He is bringing you to a new tier.

RUNNING WITH THE HORSES

You will be moved from running with the men to running with the horses. You will move from the natural to the supernatural. You will go from the first heavens to the third. You are being promoted.
Discouragement is fleeing from you. Sadness is leaving you. The disappointments and the depressing lies of the devil are being extinguished. The Holy Spirit is strengthening you with fresh revelation and you will now move forth in the spirit of power and might! It's time for you to ride on with the Rider on the white horse. Get renewed and get refreshed, for the Lord is about to accelerate you into the best season of your life!ZZ - 671.jpg

Matthew 5:16 NKJV

"Let you light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."

2 Kings 7:9 NKJV

"Then they said to one another, ''We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent. If we wait until morning light some punishment will come upon us. Now, therefore come, let us go and tell the King's household."

How can we apply this in our lives today?

Interesting story behind that verse! Share the good news! God is faithful! Also, don't doubt God, you might get trampled to death in the city gate!

Scripture Of The Day - CREATED FOR THE IMPOSSIBLE

Mark 11:13 - "And seeing in the distance a fig tree covered with leaves. He went to see if He could find any fruit on it. But when He came up to it, He found nothing but leaves for the fig season had not yet come. And He said to it, 'No one ever again shall eat fruit from you.'"

There is a message for us in the cursed fig tree. Jesus cursed it for not bearing fruit OUT OF SEASON. It died immediately.Jesus Curses The Fig Tree.jpg
Was He unreasonable?
Did He lose His temper?
Or was He showing us something about His expectations for our lives that we'd just as soon ignore?

He has the right to expect the fruit of the impossible from those He has created for the impossible.

Affirmations:

The Spirit of the resurrected Christ living in me has disqualified me from the mundane and ordinary.

I am qualified for the impossible because I'm a believing Believer.

Faith qualifies me for the impossible.

1 Thessolonians 5:14 NKJV

"Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all."

Well you sure have done that for me today. God Bless you all.

Scripture Of The Day - DARING TO BELIEVE FOR SOMETHING "NEW"

"You also, as living stones are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." - 1 Peter 2:5

Our cry for a fresh experience of God is at the core of being open to believe for something NEW.

Brick by brick, life by life, God is creating a kingdom, a "spiritual house.
The Holy Spirit gives assignments to people, "to each according to each one's unique ability (Matthew 25:15). As He calls, He equips. To discover this assignment we must be open to something NEW.

We have an uncommon call to an uncommon life. "The Spirit has given each of us a special way of serving others" (1 Corinthians 12:7). We are to "Kindle afresh the gift of God which is in you" (2 Timothy 1:6)

We have built up in our reasoning faculties lots of support for not being convinced that NEW things can happen, even if we deeply want them to.

OBSERVATION:

Newness is always possible to those who believe -- I must believe God is working a NEW work in me.

New things require a NEW language. Our self-talk draws us closer or drives us further from experiencing NEW things.
ZZ - 677.jpg
AFFIRMATIONS:

I kindle afresh the gift of God which is in me.

I have an uncommon call to an uncommon life.

Things have never been the way they are going to be because God is doing a NEW thing in me.

Scripture Of The Day - THROUGH DEATH TO LIFE

Hebrews 2:14,15 - "Since then the children are sharers in flesh and blood, He also Himself in like manner partook of the same; that through death He might bring to nought him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And might deliver all them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage."

There is more than one reason for Christ becoming man:

The First -- That, as our Leader, He might Himself be perfected, and so prepare a way -- a way or state of living, a nature, a life, in which we might draw near to God.

The Second -- That He might deliver us from the power of death and the devil.

The Third -- that in all His work for us and in us, He might be a merciful High Priest in things pertaining to God, able to understand and sympathize with us, and ready to bear and to render aid.

OBSERVATION:

He gave Himself to be wholly like us and for us -- shall we not give ourselves to be wholly like Him and for Him and discover His CALLING on our life?

THROUGH DEATH TO LIFE

This is the law of the life of faith -- to be felt and experienced every day, as the power of the New Death which Christ died, and the New Life He lives, works in us.Heaven - 24.jpg

AFFIRMATION:

As I give myself up to death -- as I give up the sinful life (I approach my life as if it is impossible to sin)-- and die to self in the power of Christ's death, the power of His deliverance will work in me.

Scripture Of The Day - DEPARTING FROM THE NATURAL

"The Lord said, "I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.......for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you...to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me." - Acts:26:15,16,18

Paul had first to come to this time of crying, weeping, contrition, and yieldedness. He had done all he could in the natural but the natural had only brought him to a broken place, to blindness, to helplessness, and this must come out of Paul's life before he could have the life of God.

HIS LIFE FLOWING AS A RIVER

When we have altogether parted with our own plans, as it were, then there is a possibility of God's likeness, being made manifest in us, of the water of life filling us, and not only enriching our own life, but FLOWING FROM US AS A RIVER that will touch others; and no one can tell what a river can do when it is set aflow by God, because when God is in the plan, everything works mightily and harmoniously.
The living touch of the river of the life of God is that which brings a celestial glory into the human heart, and speech that meets the kindled desire therein.

RECEIVING OUR CALLING IN CHRIST

When we are filled with the Holy Spirit we go forth to see things accomplished that we could never see otherwise:
First of all, Paul had a CALLING.
But CALLINGS are no good to us unless we make them real.
Except We claim them as they come,
Except we make them our own,
And your whole desire is to carry out what the Spirit has revealed to you in regards to your CALLING -- it will surely come to pass.

A CONTINUOUS BURNING ON THE ALTAR

Many believers lack the power because they do not keep their CALLING in the forefront of their life -- they do not allow the fire which has come to infuse into them to continue to burn.

There must be a continuous burning on the altar. Holy Spirit power in a man is meant to be an increasing force, an enlargement. God has never anything of a diminishing type. He is always moving forward.

QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF:
Am I moving forward?

Am I stopping in the plains when there are greater things waiting for me on the hilltops?

Scripture Of The Day - THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE

2 Corinthians 10:4 says, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds."
How is gratitude a weapon?

ASPECTS OF GRATITUDE:
Gratitude means being grateful not only for what God has already done but for what He is about to do. Combining faith with gratitude multiplies the power of this spiritual weapon.
The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. He uses fear to capture hearts. He uses lies to capture land. Gratitude prevents him. Gratitude actually takes territory from the enemy. Thus, gratitude is a weapon in spiritual warfare.
Gratitude creates an atmosphere for increase. Look at all of the traps gratitude helps you avoid: self-pity, entitlement, resentment, greed, lust, and anger are a few. See what a great strategy gratitude is?
Gratitude helps you avoid disappointment and indignation. As an active strategy for wellness, it promotes healing. It leaves little room for fear. Gratitude and contentment enhance godliness as you set your affection on things above and not things below. That is great gain.

ALLOWING HIS LOVE TO INFUSE YOUR HEART AND WORDS
The weapons we use are either from God or from the enemy. When we use the enemy's weapons of fear, hatred, criticism, complaining, judging and taking offense, we let him steal our identity, kill our hope and destroy our future.
We can't let temporal facts cloud our understanding of eternal truth. Jesus said, "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near"ZZ - 690.jpg).
By imagining worst-case scenarios, you make things worse than they are.
You will not win the world with your logic, you will win the world with love. There is no logic that can explain His love. So let His love flow through your heart, peace dictate your thoughts, and compassion craft your words.

Scripture of The Day - DEVELOPING SPIRITUAL HEARING

We received our spiritual faculties at the time of our salvation. It is our responsibility to develop these by spending quality time with the Lord, and by cultivating their use.ZZ - 692.jpg

"He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increases strength...But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" - Isaiah 40:29;31.

To "wait upon the Lord" means that we actively "wait" in His presence (come apart, become quiet, and look up in an attitude of expectancy and worship), until all earthly activity ceases and we are lifted up into the activity of the spiritual realm, where our spiritual being is edified and developed.
"It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life." - John 6:63

To develop our spiritual hearing we must do several things:
1. Set apart quality time to "wait upon Jesus."
2. In an attitude of worshipful anticipation, out loud, ask the Lord to increase our ability to hear, spiritually. Then give Him permission to remove anything that might be a hindrance.
3. Then wait in His presence, believing with expectancy that our spiritual hearing will improve, and we will more clearly perceive His presence and hear His voice.

Scripture Of The Day - THE VEIL OF SELF
Tearing of the Veil (2).jpg
Luke 23:44-46 - "By now it was about midday and a darkness fell over the whole land, which lasted until three in the afternoon; the sun's light failed. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus gave a loud cry and said, 'Father, into thy hands, I commit my spirit'; and with these words, he died."

When the veil of self cloaks our hearts, our perceptions are stained by the basic selfish orientation of our nature.
But when one dedicates themselves to the Lord, the veil of the self-life, like the veil in the temple, is torn in two. This is not the cutting of some thin cloth but the tearing of the heart, the splitting in two of the tightly woven fabric of self-righteousness and self-consciousness.
It is a violent rending, a putting to death, of the unregenerated self-nature.

2 Corinthians 3:16 - "But whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away."

Luke 13:20,21 - "To what shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened."

Much like light that exposes, or salt that preserves, leaven influences its surroundings in a subtle but overpowering way. So it is with the infiltrating power of the Kingdom of God.
Without a revelation of what God intends to do in our lives regarding our CALLING in Christ, we cannot move in overcoming faith.
When the main goal of our faith is to keep us safe from the devil, our faith becomes inferior to what God expects. Jesus had in mind more for us than survival. We are destined to overcome.
Every conversion plunders hell. Every miracle destroys the works of the devil. Every God encounter is an "invasion of the almighty" into our desperate condition. This is our joy.

Revelation 12:11 - "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

Scripture of The Day - DISCERNING THE HEART OF GOD

"You don't know what your hearts are like. For the Son of Man has not come to destroy men's lives but to save them" - Luke 9:55,56
ZZ - 707.jpg

James and John wanted to call the fire of God down upon the Samaritans to punish them for turning them away. But what Jesus wanted was for James and John to know God's heart for the Samaritans – His love for them. Because if they did, they would not want to call the fire of God down upon the Samaritans, but instead upon the things of the enemy that had caused the Samaritans to take offense and which stole from them a visitation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are not to call the fire of God down in anger or offense but in love. We are not to call the fire of God down as a judgment against men but as a judgment against the things of the enemy that keep men from knowing the fullness of God.

CONNECTING TO GOD'S HEART

The fire of God is His burning love for all people and all places for all time. When we connect to God's heart, when we know His love for people – no matter what they've done, where they've been, or how they're behaving – we can call forth the fire of God upon the things of the enemy that are stealing the fullness of God from them.

The Lord wants to use us to help birth this next move of God. He wants to empower us to call His fire into the earth. And it all begins by knowing His heart and His love for all people and all places at all times.

Scripture Of The Day - THE STRONGHOLD OF OUR EXPERIENCES

2 Corinthians 10:4,5 - "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."

We must topple the "stronghold of our experiences." The only one who has a right to shape our lives is Jesus Christ. We must determine to allow nothing and no one to shape us, not even our personal experiences unless they are consistent with the promises of God.

To the degree that our experiences do not conform to the Word of God, they subtly teach us that God is not who He says He is. In other words, even though you were not healed, you should not conclude "healing is not for today." God's provision is eternal, which means that until heaven and earth pass away, He as provided for our healing.
In regard to sin, though we repeatedly stumble, we must continue to believe God for grace to overcome. We must give ourselves room to grow into new insights. We must never surrender our faith in God's Word!
Experiences may seem valid, but if they have left us thinking that Jesus is not the same today as He was in the Gospels, the conclusion we have drawn is wrong. It is a stronghold that must be pulled down.
