Scripture Of The Day - WASHING WITH WATER BY THE WORD

John 13:8 -- Peter said to Him, "You shall never wash my feet!" Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me."
Peter could not imagine Jesus wanting to wash his feet -- his shocked reaction being "Lord, how can You wash my feet!"
Jesus says to him: "Peter, if I don't wash your feet, you have no part with Me." What the Lord was actually saying to Peter was, "Peter you cannot walk together with Me in ministry, in service, and in effectiveness if you don't let Me wash your feet."

John 13:9,10 -- "Then, Lord, Simon Peter replied, 'not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!' Jesus answered, 'A person who has had a bath needs only to wash his feet; his whole body is clean. And you are clean.....'"

Once we have received Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are bathed all over, and cleansed by His blood once and for all eternity! His blood has perfected us forever (Hebrews 10:14), and we only need to wash our feet because we walk in the world and our feet pick up dust and dirt, causing us to stumble.

HOW DOES JESUS WASH OUR FEET TODAY?

Ephesians 5:25-26 tells us that "Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word."

We, the Church, are cleansed with the washing of water by the Word. The more we come under anointed teaching that unveils Christ through the Word, the more the cleansing goes on. And as our feet are washed, instead of stumbling, we will be walking in God's purpose for our life ever-advancing His Kingdom!

Affirmation:

I LET JESUS WASH MY FEET WITH A DEEPER REVELATION OF HIMSELF THROUGH HIS WORD.

Scripture Of The Day - STARING INTO THE ABYSS

"Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life -- fear of death, fear of judgment -- is one not yet fully formed in love." -- 1 John 4:18 The Message

Stop staring into that hole of loss, and ask for a fresh revelation of His love to push out the fear and crushing disappointment. Stop waiting for people, movements, or organizations to repent and come to the Light. Stop trying to figure it all out, losing your peace and joy because someone you love doesn't "get it." Stop staring into the abyss, waiting for something you hoped would come to pass.

When sorrowing over what others did, or failed to do, keeps us from what we can do, it has gone too far and we cease to be in the "present," living out of our past. When we lose all joy by lingering and hoping that something can be salvaged from the ashes, we have waited too long. If we remain staring into the pit of death, death will start staring into us.

"Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life." - Romans 8:6 The Message

Scripture Of The Day - UNDERSTANDING WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name!... Who forgives all your iniquities. Who heals all your diseases." - Psalm 103: 1,3

God doesn't give people disease any more than we would give our own children poison.
People think that God causes all the disasters and tragedies and yet when Jesus walked the earth, He never once called for a disaster or tragedy.

He always brought healing and quieted every life-threatening storm.

If we're not believing the truth about who God is, it leads to not believing the truth about ourselves. We will never experience the full extent of life in the Kingdom until we know our real identity of who we are in Christ.

Scripture Of The Day - AWAKENED TO HIS SPIRIT

"Jesus said to them, 'My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.'' - John 5:17

Because we are so prone to neglecting and forgetting about the needs of other people, we think that God is capable of being slothful toward us. And so we accuse Him of neglecting us when circumstances become painful or simply not to our liking.

Isn't that the way our lowly, self-centered nature works?

When we are awakened in the Spirit, we see that God never sleeps (Psalm 121:2-5) -- that He is always moving about His work and that our lives are moved under the all-wise directing of God.

Now, as we awaken in spirit, we are able to see that He looks upon us in compassion, His eyes brimming over with flowing grace -- as His works are good...and only good… giving us the revelation we need to advance His Kingdom through our calling in Christ.

Scripture Of The Day - STAYING FRESH IN THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD

As we advance forward in the glory in this season, we have to stay fresh in His strength. We can draw on and see increase in His might in our lives on a daily basis. In this flow, we will be empowered by the Holy Spirit (see Eph. 3:16) and live in fresh strength, inspiration, joy, and confidence in the Lord.

We will be empowered by the Lord in supernatural strength in the inner person in order to believe the impossible is possible and to press through all obstacles. As we advance in our New Season we are blazing new trails in divine destiny for our lives that will impact our lives, our families, and people around us.

We must stay fresh in His strength and not become weary, giving in to discouragement and disappointment. We must stay fresh in Him and sensitive to the Spirit of the Lord as He leads us into a new era of breakthrough in His purpose for our life that has the potential of equipping the lives of others in their Christ calling, thereby, advancing God’s Kingdom.

Scripture Of The Day - TURNING ASIDE INTO THE FLAME

"For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:8 AMP

The first step to getting out of the box is to fellowship with the God of the breakthrough. The Holy Spirit will charge you with fresh vision and boldness. Choose today to align yourself with God. Choose today to "turn aside into the flame" of God's presence and receive fresh encouragement, fresh vision, fresh energy, and fresh oil.

It's important to operate at maximum efficiency in the Kingdom — that is getting up each day and asking Him to help you be aware of the Kingdom -- current of activity going on around you—and jumping into God’s PURPOSE for your life.

Ask God for a revelation of your DESTINY in Christ. You carry the heart of a lion. You are made fearless in His image. You are created for an extraordinary life. Pray and soak in His plans for you. Open the door to your future.

Scripture Of The Day - THE STRONGHOLD OF HOPE

Vine's Expository of Greek Words lists hope as "the favorable and confident expectation, the happy anticipation of good."

Paraphrasing -- The confident expectancy that something good is going to happen.

PRIMARY SCRIPTURE VERSES

Zechariah 9:12 - "Return to the stronghold, O prisoners who have the hope; this very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you."

Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is the substance of thing hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Colossians 1:27 - "...God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

1 Thessalonians 5:8 - "...as a helmet, the hope of salvation."

Before we can ever walk in true Biblical faith, it is imperative that we first be a people of "hope," possessing a happy anticipation that something good is about to happen.

WAYS TO OBTAIN HOPE

1. Be a person of the Word of God! Romans 15:4 - "...that through the perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."

2. Lamentations 3:21-23 - "This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope." The Lord's lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. "The Lord is my portion," says my soul. "Therefore, I have hope in Him!"

3. Romans 15:13 - "...[Through faith] the power of the Holy Spirit [enables us to] abound in hope."

Yes, we have a sure expectation of unending ages of glory in the presence of the Lord. But we do not have to wait till we arrive in Heaven – we get to bring Heaven to earth. Let us return to the Stronghold of Hope and receive a double portion from the Lord!

DAILY CONFESSION: I will hope in the Lord! Amen and Amen!

Scripture Of The Day - THRONE ROOM RIGHTS

Ephesians 1:3 - "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places."

The more we meditate on the revelation of enthronement, the more we accept and believe it -- the more it gets on us. Heavenly encounters increase and angelic activity abounds. Every spiritual blessing has been given to us in the heavenly places.

Affirmations:

I AM NOT GOING TO GROVEL IN THE EARTHLY REALM SINCE I AM SEATED IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES WITH THE LORD.
I HAVE THE RIGHT, AUTHORITY, AND ABILITY TO MINISTER OUT OF THE THRONE ROOM JUST AS JESUS DID.

Scripture Of The Day - FIELD OF DREAMS

Genesis 13:1,14,15 - "1So Abram went up from Egypt to the £Negev, he and his wife and all that belonged to him, and Lot with him.14The LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, “Now lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward; 15for all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your descendants forever."

Just to hear the promise of God is not good enough. God tells Abraham that the real secret to birthing your dream is to see it. He is inviting Abraham to dream. If you can’t see it or act it out in your heart and have done it in your spirit first, it can’t become a reality.

Genesis 15:1,5 - 1"After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not fear, Abram, I am a shield to you; Your reward shall be very great.” 5And He took him outside and said, 'Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.'”

Look now toward heaven. God is pointing you toward your DESTINY – your vision.

AFFIRMATIONS:

God wants me to learn how to dream with Him.

God wants me to see things by faith that are far off.

I believe that God is taking me into the field of dreams.

Psalm 19:1 - "The heavens declare the glory of God: and the firmament showeth His handiwork."

Scripture of The Day - HEART CALLING

Luke 5:4 - "He said to Simon, 'Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch."

Jesus' invitation to Peter is still being given to us today.

Are you ready to leave the shore and become something more?

Can you feel the depth of God's heart calling to you in this season, beckoning you to launch out into His purpose for your life?

Can you feel the depth of your spirit desiring Him more than your next breath?

PRAYER:

Dear Lord, I choose today to lay aside the weight of what's been and the fear of "what ifs." I ask You for Your grace to leave the shores of my comfort zone and dive into the depths of Your plans and purposes for my life. Today, I declare that I am crossing a line and my tide is beginning to turn. As you bring Your Word to pass in my life, I launch out and dive-in to Your promises and purposes for my life.

Scripture Of The Day - SEEING GOD GREAT IN BATTLE!

Joshua 10:10,11 - "And the Lord confounded them before Israel, and He slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon...and as far Makkedah. The Lord threw large hailstones from Heaven...and there were more who died from the hailstones than those whom the sons of Israel killed with a sword."

This passage shows that God is actively involved in our battles. Sometimes He may use hailstones; sometimes He may discharge angels to fight; sometimes He may alter the natural courses of rivers and seas; sometimes He confuses the enemy to fight among themselves.

We are co-laborers with the Lord in the battles we are in. It is important to know that we cannot do God's part and He will not do our part. God wants to us co-labor with Him to release our victories and defeat our enemies.

Affirmations:

I LIFT UP MY HEAD AND SPIRITUAL EYES TO BEHOLD THE KING OF GLORY --THE LORD STRONG AND MIGHTY--THE LORD MIGHTY IN BATTLE.

I MAGNIFY THE LORD AND EXALT HIS NAME AND HE DELIVERS ME FROM ALL MY FEARS.

Scripture Of The Day -- SPIRITUAL SUBSTANCE

Genesis 1:2 - "And the earth was without form........the Spirit of God moved..."

In our secular lfe experience, we move in a world that is "without form." It is only as God intervenes and speaks that the earth takes on form and becomes PRODUCTIVE. Thus, as we come under the influence of His anointing, or the manifestation of His presence, we take on spiritual "SUBSTANCE" and become PRODUCTIVE.

Hebrews 11:1 - "Now, faith it the SUBSTANCE...."

Scripture Of The Day -- PERFECT THEOLOGY

John 5:19 - "The Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever He does, that the Son does likewise."

Jesus told us the secret for His life -- "I only do what I see my Father doing." Our attention is on what God is doing or has done. If we dwell on what God hasn't done we create an occasion for offense. If we dwell on what God has done we create an occasion for thankfulness.

A kingdom mind-set doesn't accuse God. A kingdom mindset doesn't gain information to support accusation against God. Because it burns with the conviction that He is good. With that as the cornerstone of our theology we work from there towards the issues of life.

Anything that you think you know about God that you can't find in the person of Jesus, you have reason to question. Jesus Christ is PERFECT THEOLOGY -- He is the exact image of the Father. That is our message. He is not part of the message -- He is the message.

Scripture Of The Day -- CONSIDER JESUS

Hebrews 4:15 - "For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been tempted in all things like as we are, yet without sin."

What comfort and strength comes at such a time to a soul, when it sees that Jesus is able to sympathize and to succor (aid, help, furnish relief), because He has Himself been thus tempted.

Or did it not become so dark in His soul, that He had to wrestle and to cry -- "if it be possible?" and "Why has thou forsaken Me?"

He too had to trust God in the dark.

He too, in the hour of death had to let go His spirit, and commit it, in the darkness of death, into God's keeping.

He knew what it was to walk in darkness and see no light.

And when a believer feels utterly helpless and in despair, Jesus can sympathise with him; He was tempted in all things like as we are.

JESUS BRINGS US INTO THE REST OF GOD

If we would but rest in the assurance that He understands it all, that He feels for us with a sympathy, in which the infinite love of God and the tenderness of a fellow-sufferer are combined, and is able to succor him, we should soon reach the rest of God. Trusting Jesus would bring us into it.

QUESTIONS TO ASK MYSELF:

Am I willing to be a partaker of my heavenly CALLING in Christ?

Am I driven to hold fast to my confession of the full power of Jesus to save?

Am I willing to listen to and follow, today, the voice of the Holy Spirit?

Scripture of The Day -- A GREAT HIGH PRIEST

Hebrews 4:14 -- "Having, then, a great High Priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession."

A GREAT HIGH PRIEST, JESUS THE SON OF GOD

The name JESUS speaks of His humanity, and of His work as a Saviour from sin. This is the first work of the priest -- the cleansing , the putting away of sin.

Secondly, the name SON OF GOD speaks of His divinity, and His power as High Priest, really to bring us to God, into the very life and fellowship of the Holy One. It is in His Son that God speaks to us; it is to the perfect fellowship and blessedness of the ever-blessed One that our great High Priest that is passed through the heavens can, and does indeed, bring us.

HAVING, THEREFORE, A GREAT HIGHT PRIEST, LET US HOLD FAST OUR CONFESSION

We become partakers of Christ, IF WE HOLD FAST. Our faith in Christ must be CONFESSED. The knowledge of what He is is our strength to hold fast our confession.

If we have Him as our great Hight Priest, He is worthy of it; our souls will delight in rendering Him this homage; without it failure will speedily come; without it, the grace of steadfastness and perseverance, cannot be maintained.

WHO HAS PASSED THROUGH THE HEAVENS

Having passed through the heavens beyond all thought of space and place, into the mystery of the diving glory and power.

And why?

That He might in divine power breathe that heavenly life into our hearts. His whole priesthood has, as its one great characteristic -- heavenliness.

He communicates the purity, the power, the life of heaven to us.

We live in heaven with Him.

He lives with heaven in us.

With Him in our hearts we have the Kingdom of Heaven within us, in which God's will is done, as in heaven, so on earth.

Let us not fall short of the rest, as partakers of the heavenly calling -- consider the Apostle and High Priest of our CONFESSION -- Jesus.

Having Jesus, let us HOLD FAST.

Scripture of The Day -- DIVIDING ASUNDER OF SOUL AND SPIRIT

Hebrews 4:12 - "For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart."

The first action of God's word is to wound, to cut, to divide.

In the soul -- the natural life has its seat;

In the spirit -- the spiritual and divine.

Sin has brought confusion and disorder; the spirit is under the mastery of the soul -- the natural life.

GOD'S WORD:

Divides and separates.

Wakens the spirit to a sense of its destiny as the faculty for the unseen and eternal;

Brings the soul to a knowledge of itself as a captive to the power of sin.

Cutting deep and sure, discovering the deep corruption of sin.

As the knife of the surgeon, who seeks to heal -- pierces even to the dividing of the joints and marrow where it is needed -- there is not part of the inner being to which it does not pass.

The heart that will but yield itself to be searched by God's word -- to have its secret thoughts and intents discerned and judged by it -- will be freed from its erring and unbelief and quickened and cleansed and made a living tablet on which the word is written by God Himself.

How blessed to yield our hearts to the judgment of the word.

Scripture Of The Day -- MATURING IN CHRIST

Hebrews 3:16,18,19 - "For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses? And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."

There are two stages of the Christian life -- there are those who remain babes and those who are full-grown men. There are those who come up out of Egypt, but then remain in the wilderness of a worldly life -- there are those who follow the Lord fully and enter the life of God's CALLING on their life.

No teaching about Christ can profit unless our hearts are longing and ready to follow Him fully.

Let each of us find God's PURPOSE for our life and, taking earnest heed to apprehend who we are in Christ, with our whole heart press on to go all the length in following Jesus, in seeking to stand perfect and complete in all of what God has CALLED us to do.

Scripture Of The Day - Stewarding Our Kairos Moment

"For He says, 'In the time [kairos] of My favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.' I tell you, now is the time [kairos] of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.'" (2 Corinthians 6:2 NIV)

Kairos is one of the Greek words in the New Testament for time. It is translated as the "right time, a set or proper time, occasion, due season, short time, or a fixed and definite time, the time when things are brought to crisis, the decisive epoch waited for" (see Strong's G2540).

Seizing the day, harvest time, Esther being born for such a time as this, and us stepping into this moment we were born for all tie into the theme of a kairos moment of time. Another way to describe kairos time could be to recognize that it is a special window of occasion.

There is an anointing upon a kairos season in a heightened way for those who are pursuing and advancing in God's purpose for their life. More is available, possible, and accessible during this time than in others. There is radical and unexplainable acceleration that happens in kairos moments. It's time to take your place.

Scripture Of The Day - THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

Matthew 6:33 -- "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

We all have things that we perceive that we need. What does God have to say to us about these concerns?

According to Matthew 6:31, He tells us, "Do not worry." God cares about us having these things. He wants us to have all these things. In fact, He wants all these things added to us. And He tells us that the way these things are added to us is by us seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

Therefore, our number one priority every day is to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. IT IS NOT TO SEEK TO ADD THESE THESE THINGS TO OURSELVES.

RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD

But what is righteousness? Righteousness is not right behavior. It is right standing with the Father. It is the clearance of all your guilt, which makes you able to stand before God. It is not something you get through right behavior. It is a GIFT from God. Paul calls it "the gift of righteousness" (Romans 5:17). And to "seek" this gift is to be CONSCIOUS OF THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE IT, TO CONFESS THAT YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS IN CHRIST.

So this righteousness, we are told to seek, is not right behavior, but right standing before God, which comes to us as a gift when we receive salvation. At the cross, Jesus didn't just remove our sins, He gave us His righteousness so that today, we can come boldly before the throne of God and receive freely everything that He died to give us!

AFFIRMATIONS

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

I seek the righteousness of Jesus, not my own righteousness.

Scripture Of The Day -- THE HOLY SPIRIT SAYS -- TODAY

Hebrews 3:7 - "Wherefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, TODAY, if you shall hear His voice, harden not your hearts."

The Holy Spirit says, TODAY. What does this mean?

God is the Eternal One. With Him there is no yesterday or tomorrow; what we call past and future are with Him an ever-present NOW. His life is an ever-blessed, never-ending TODAY.

Jesus has become the author of eternal salvation -- that is, a salvation which bears the character of eternity; its chief mark is that it is an ever-present NOW -- that there is not a moment in which Christ, whoever lives to pray for us, is not able to maintain us in it in the power of an endless life.

Even as the Holy Spirit says TODAY, satan's word is ever TOMORROW, God's demand is too great for TODAY.

The Holy Spirit says, TODAY! That means that He who is the mighty power of God is Himself ready to work in us the CALLING He has on our individual life and asks; it is He who is each moment pleading for immediate surrender, for a present trust, because He bears with Him the power of a present salvation.

OBSERVATION:

TODAY, this very moment, the wondrous love of God is for me -- it is even now waiting to be poured out into my heart.

TODAY, all that Christ has done, and is now doing in heaven, and is able to do within me -- this very day --- it is within my reach.

TODAY, the Holy Spirit, is within me -- sufficient for every need, equal to every emergency.

With every prayer we breathe, and every longing that rules in our heart, there is the Spirit of promise whispering, TODAY!
