The Lord's day being the day of the Lord is a day of Gods great wrath being poured out into the world that will have a great impact on those who refuse to repent and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. It is always pointed out as the day at hand meaning in Gods timing in Rev 1:10. The phrase "the day of the Lord" is used nineteen times in the Old Testament (Isaiah 2:12; 13:6, 9; Ezekiel 13:5, 30:3; Joel 1:15, 2:1,11,31; 3:14; Amos 5:18,20; Obadiah 15; Zephaniah 1:7,14; Zechariah 14:1; Malachi. 4:5) and five times in the New Testament (Acts 2:20; 1 Thessalonians 5:2; 2 Thessalonians 2:2; 2 Peter 3:10; Rev 1:10). It is also alluded to in other passages like Revelation 6:17; 16:14.

The Lord's day only appears once in scripture in Rev 1:10. It gives no reference to what day of the week it was as every day is the Lord's day, but more specific is also referred to the Sabbath day beginning Friday at sunset to Saturday at sunset.

John was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, but yet in his physical body when he received from the angel Jesus sent to him who gave him all these revelations that he wrote down. Throughout scripture the Lord's day is usually referred to as the Sabbath being the seventh day of the week, Genesis 2:1-3 a day of rest.

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

In 2 Peter 3:1-10 Peter is not talking about six days of creation with the seven day as a sabbath. The full context is Peter addressing the mockers about the return of Christ, 2 Peter 3:1-7. Peter is actually quoting Psalms 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. This also parallels with Psalms 63:6 and Psalms 119:148 that speak of night watches that we read in 2 Peter 3:10 that Jesus will come as a thief in the night and that we just need to be ready as we watch for His return, Matthew 24:43; 1 Thessalonians 5:2.

Vs. 8-10 Peter gives the manifestation of the day of the Lord and if you take notice of the "is" and "as" in vs. 8 they are a figure of speech or a simile as being like a thousand years, but yet God's timing, not our timing. It's also like "a twinkling of an eye" in 1 Corinthians 15:2 as you can not define a twinkling in measurement of time. Man's literal counting of days is not always how God numbers days in hours, minutes or seconds. This is why I do not consider 1000 years as being literal in 2 Peter 3:8 or Rev 20, but symbolic as in Deuteronomy 7:9; 1Chronicles 16:15; Psalms 50:10; 90:4; 105:8 Ecc 6:6; 7:28; Daniel 5:1; 2Peter 3:8.

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The Battle of Armageddon and the sea of glass are both mentioned in the Book of Revelation, but they don’t appear to be directly connected. Armageddon is described as the final battle between the forces of good and evil (Revelation 16:16), while the sea of glass is seen before God’s throne (Revelation 4:6, 15:2), symbolizing purity, holiness, and divine majesty.

Some interpretations suggest that the sea of glass mingled with fire (Revelation 15:2) could represent judgment, possibly linking it to the events surrounding Armageddon. It is interesting that a nuclear explosion will turn sand into a sea of gass and armageddon is sand.

Israel says if they need to use nuclear bombs to defend themselves, they will.

Peter is actually quoting Psalms 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Psalm 90 is attributed to Moses, although it most likely was an oral tradition that did not get written down and recorded until the time of David. It is interesting to read all the scriptures in the Bible that talk about the third day and the seventh day.

The third day and seventh day hold deep significance throughout the Bible.

  • The third day often symbolizes resurrection, renewal, and divine intervention. For example, Jesus rose on the third day (Luke 24:7), and in Genesis 1:9-13, God brought forth land and vegetation on the third day of creation.
  • The seventh day represents completion, rest, and holiness. God rested on the seventh day after creation (Genesis 2:2-3), and the Sabbath was established as a day of rest and worship (Exodus 20:10).

I believe the church began on the day of Pentacost when Peter was preaching in the upper room and the Holy Spirit was poured out. For me this was the year 29 AD. So we are very close to the end of the second day. If we add 2,000 to 29 we get 2029 AD. Some believe the church age is ending and the Kingdom age is beginning.

There is some confusion because there were people who go by when Jesus was born and not when the Church began or was born. But as far as I know nothing happened in the year 2,000 other than y2k2. When Bill Gates scammed everyone into buying a new computer with his window program on it.

I consider the Lord's Day of Revelation 1:10 is the same as the following, the future day when Christ will return and reign on the Kingdom of God upon the earth.
Acts 17:31 (KJV): Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
John in vision was transported into this era, and then looking back, the events leading up to this Kingdom were revealed to John, and many of these events are depicted in symbol.

Kind regards
Trevor

John in vision was transported into this era, and then looking back, the events leading up to this Kingdom were revealed to John, and many of these events are depicted in symbol.
Hi TrevorL

My understanding is that while John was imprisoned on the isle of Patmos for his witness and teachings of Jesus he was only in the Spirit (slain in the Spirit) that day as the scripture says when he heard the voice of the angels that spoke to him giving John these visions. John was not actually physically transported anywhere, but given these visions to write down and give to the seven Churches in Asia Minor.

I did a study on this, which I no longer have as I can't find it, and as ships would come to the isle of Patmos bringing supplies there were some on the ship that secretly helped John deliver these letters to the seven Churches in Asia Minor.

Note:
The term "slain in the Spirit" is found in Numbers 22:31; 2 Chronicles 5:13, 14; Ezekiel 44:4; 1:28; Matthew 17:6; John 6:5; 18:6; .

When you are in the presence of God's Holy Spirit it can cause your body to sway back and forth and go limp as the Holy Spirit engulfs you. It can cause your body to go limp so much that you fall to the floor in His presence. It's the greatest experience one could ever have.

The term "slain in the Spirit" means falling to the ground as the power of God works through the Holy Spirit and engulfs you in the actual light of the glory of the Lord as He speaks to you. Some people will experience this like I have many times as well as others and some may never experience it at all as it's usually a special anointing from God when we worship and praise Him in song or prayer, or that He has a special message for the individual.

The Battle of Armageddon and the sea of glass are two separate events as the battle of Armageddon comes after Satan is bound and then released. This happens after the seven vial judgements come against those who have taken the mark of the beast.

Rev 15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
Rev 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

The sea of glass symbolizes the vastness of Gods holiness and purity that is a place in our heart of peace and restful assurance. It is a place of safety as we endure our time here on earth trusting God in all things until the coming of the Lord as we have been warned to flee from the abomination that causes desolation which is the Luciferians New World Order, Matthew 24:13-22. Those who are still alive and in Christ are kept in the safety of Gods protection, Psalms 91, from the last seven plagues harming them as they are sealed by the Holy Spirit, 2 Corinthians 1:22, unto the day of redemption when at that time Jesus will return in the air for His Bride that has made herself ready.

The sea of glass mingled with fire is like that of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego that were of Gods purity as they abide in great faith and trust in the Lord as they were unharmed in Nebuchadnezzar's fiery furnace as they refused to bow down and worship the golden image Nebuchadnezzar had made, Daniel chapter 3. The same will be during the last seven vial judgments that those who have not died a martyrs death and have kept their faith and trust in Jesus will come out of the fiery indignation of God unharmed and will be with the Lord forever.

I agree with most of this except the date setting as no one knows the year, day or the hour of Christ return, Matthew 24:36.

We do not know if the physical return of Jesus is pre kingdom or post kingdom age. We just know the Church Age is ending and the Kingdom Age is beginning. WE do not even know how we go from one age to the next. We also do not know the day hour or year of his first coming. Although Bishop Ussher tries to figure that out.

The crucifixion of Jesus is generally believed to have taken place on Friday, April 3rd, AD 33, at approximately 3 PM. https://www.christianity.com/wiki/jesus-christ/on-what-day-did-jesus-die.html

We actually do not know the year, day or hour because the Hebrew calender is different from the Greek. The reason I pick that year is because of the Apophis comet. Neil DeGrass is agnostic so you can to accuse him of setting dates.

The Bible describes Christ’s physical return in Zechariah 14:4, stating:

"On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half the mountain moving to the north and half to the south."

This passage is often linked to the Second Coming, when Jesus returns to establish His kingdom. Many believe this moment marks the beginning of His reign on Earth, fulfilling prophecies about His return in glory and power.

Luke 21:25, which states:

"There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring."

This verse suggests that cosmic disturbances—such as changes in the sun, moon, and stars—will accompany the unfolding of prophetic events. Other passages, like Joel 2:30-31 and Matthew 24:29, also describe celestial signs preceding the Day of the Lord.

The Bible describes Christ’s physical return in Zechariah 14:4, stating:
Jesus did give us signs to look for His return, but yet no one knows the day or the hour, but that it will be like the days of Noah on the last day when the flood came and all but Noah and his family were killed in the flood.

Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
Rev 19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

I agree with most of this except the date setting as no one knows the year, day or the hour of Christ return, Matthew 24:36.
How much do you want to go into this, because I could easily write a whole book to address this issue.
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
I have heard many many sermons on this over the years. Usually they say that there is a seven year tribulation period. Even though the literal Bible does not talk about this. But what they say is Jesus comes at the beginning of the trib to get his church. They are caught up and meet him in the air. Then 7 years later he returns to the earth with his church. This is when His feet touch the ground. Then we rule and reign with Christ for 1,000 years.

It is interesting because I wonder how you can split the earth east and west, north and south at the same time. But if we study plate technotices what the Bible says is exactly what is going to happen. When His feet touch the ground there is going to be a massive Earth Quake. That we read about in the OT.

I am 73. I really should not be alive, but for some reason God wants to keep me alive. So the fact that I am alive and that I may live to the year 2029 is an absolute miracle and the work of God. Then 7 years later Neil Degrasse talks about an event that sounds a lot like this scripture: ""There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring." Luke 212:25

Like I said he is agnostic so he is not predicting anything.

I have friends and family who joke about how I am going to outlive them. We need to be careful what we joke about. Still it could be we will all go at about the same time. I think the rapture will be hidden and not out there, obvious for everyone to see. I even got in trouble at Bible college for this. They reported me to the president of the college because I supposedly had different beliefs than they had about future events. I dropped out and quit going after that. I had enough at that point in time. I do not think our bible beliefs should be based on a left behind movie. I like to read and study the Bible as I am lead by the HOly Spirit, not man.

So if you are going to be here in 2030 that is wonderful. But I do not plan to be here. If I do I might be broke and I might have to borrow against my house because I am on a budget so my investments will last until that time. Although God always provides above and beyond all we would ever want or need.

I believe the church began on the day of Pentacost when Peter was preaching in the upper room and the Holy Spirit was poured out.

Thanks for your post. You have some interesting things to say.

Many people believe this as well. I would like to hear your thoughts as to why you believe the Church began on the day of Pentecost.

How much do you want to go into this, because I could easily write a whole book to address this issue.

The return of Christ which is the second coming of Christ also known as the Day of the LORD or Day of Christ, seems to occur on the last day and is associated with the resurrection and rapture.

What matters and prevails is the Word of GOD, the Word is GOD, GOD Himself, Father of our Lord JESUS christ, self-executing, Self-executable-Genesis 1 combined with Psalms 33:9 among other biblical references. So, to associate the Lord's Day with a human 24-hour day and to determine it as Sunday or Saturday is a serious error, because the Lord's Day has nothing to do with the human calendar. The Lord's Day is the seventh and final millennium, or seventh and last Day, the Day of GOD's rest.

It was still the beginning of the fifth GOD's Day, around 95AD, the first century, and John was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the Word of GOD, and for the testimony of JESUS Christ, and he heard behind him a great voice, as of a trumpet, then he turned to see the voice that spake with him, and saw seven golden candlesticks and one like unto the Son of man. And John was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, that is this current seventh and last Day or current seventh and last millennium. But how? ->https://purebibleforum.com/index.php?threads/the-lords-day-neither-saturday-nor-sunday.4759/

I do not believe John was transported to a future time, but that he was taken there in his various visions.

I have no experience of this.

for_his_glory: I also wrote a book on Revelations you can find in the End Times forum under the sub forum Revelation. You will have to scroll down to read all 21 chapters. The book is called The Unveiling.
TrevorL: I had a quick browse, but have a different perspective. I endorse the Continuous Historic view of the Seals, Trumpets and Vials. I consider that we are in the 6th Vial period.

Yes, visions can take us to many places, but yet we are sitting in the same place when we receive them.

Thank you for taking the time to browse my book. The seven vial judgements do not come until after all have taken the mark of the beast when the son of perdition comes to reign for 3 1/2 years. I do feel we might be in the midst of the first six seals with the seventh seal not to far off.

I do not believe in a pretrib rapture of the church nor a seven year tribulation period. I will go even further to say I do not even believe in a literal 1000 year millennium, but that it is only symbolic like many things we find in the book of Revelation.

God speaks to us in scripture of a 3 1/2 year tribulation during the time of the seventh trumpet, not a seven year tribulation, as being time, times and half time which equals 1260 days = 3 1/2 years or 3 Times as the Hebrew calendar only had 30 days for each month and this is where you get 1260 days or 3 1/2 years.
[Scripture reference]
Revelation 12:14; Daniel 7:25; Daniel 12:7
1260 days Revelation 11:3; Revelation 12:6
42 months Revelation 11:2; Revelation 13:5

No where in scripture does it mention a seven year tribulation, but only seven trumpets of God's fierce wrath as scripture says we will always have tribulations as the last time will be such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be, Matthew 24:21; Deuteronomy 4:30-31; 7:19; 29:1-6; 1 Samuel 26:24; Matthew; John 16:33; Romans 12:12; 24:21; James 1:2; 1 Peter 1:6.

Isaiah 13; Joel 3:9-17; Zechariah 14; Rev 19 speaks about the great battle against the enemies of God. When Christ returns with His army, being the host/angels from heaven who are the righteousness of God in heaven, He will then rule the nations with a rod of iron (power and great authority) destroying the enemy being the beast and false prophet casting them into the lake of fire then killing all who have wondered after the beast and false prophet and have taken its mark. Then Satan will be bound for a time as Christ sends His angels out to the four corners of the earth as we who are of Christ own are then gathered up to Christ as we meet Him in the air and ever be with the Lord, 1 Corinthians 15:51-55; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

Between the binding of Satan and being loosed scripture says 1000 years, but many parts of Revelation are symbolic in what John was shown in His visions as I see 1000 years only being a figurative numbering as I can't see God waiting a literal 1000 years before casting Satan into the lake of fire and then comes His final judgment and the new Jerusalem being ushered down from heaven after this present earth and heaven are restored back to what God created in the beginning.

Revelation 20:1-8 is the only passage in the entire scriptures that the premillennialists have as the basis for the 1000 year reign. Rev 20:4 doesn't speak about a 1000 year reign of Christ it says by the vision John received "and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." It's not Christ that reigns 1000 years, but those who were killed for God's sake that reign with Christ a 1000 years as 1000 being a figurative number, not a literal number as in Deuteronomy 7:9; 1Chronicles 16:15; Psalms 50:10; 90:4; 105:8 Ecc 6:6; 7:28; Daniel 5:1; 2 Peter 3:8.

The Lord's Day is the seventh and final millennium, or seventh and last Day, the Day of GOD's rest.

This is true.

However, the seventh day of the week points to this prophetic day.

The literal seventh of the week must be true for the shadow it casts to be true.

Many would rather follow a bandwagon majority rule teaching instead of reading and studying the scriptures for themselves. Jesus is very clear in what He has said about His return that no man knows the day or the hour of His return, but so many waste their time on date setting. Scripture states that Christ will return on the last day, Matthew 24:29-31; John 6:40; Rev 19:11-21.

OK, JLB, thank you for your reply. Very interesting, the point is the shadow.

Actually, what matters for us and prevails is the Word of GOD, the Word is GOD, GOD Himself, the Truth, the Life, Father of our Lord JESUS Christ, Self-executing, Self-executable.

The Church of the Lord is sat down under the SHADOW of her beloved with great delight, understand? and His fruit is sweet to her taste-Song of Salomon 2:3. -> GOD said by the prophet Isaiah: I am the Lord thy GOD, that divided the sea(peoples, and nations, and multitudes of all tongues) , whose waves(whose generations) roared. The Lord of hosts is His name.-> Psalms 91:1-> He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the SHADOW of the Almighty.

The Lord of hosts said: Isaiah 51:16 - And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the SHADOW of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people. -> (Heavens? Ephesians 1:3-12, TAKE A LOOK. And Genesis 1:1 that was revealed by GOD to Moses around 2500 years after Adam, it says that in the beginning, i.e. in JESUS, GOD created the heavens by His Word, as follow:

- the 1st heavenly environment, 1st heaven, GOD established it by the words given to Moses-the Law, and after to the all the 24 prophets -the Old Testament->Matthew 11:13 combined with Isaiah 51:16 above. This heavenly place, or 1st heaven, it lasted around 1500 years.

- the 2nd heaven, 2nd heavenly place in Christ, GOD established it by JESUS and His Apostles, the celestial environment of the New Testament. JESUS came at the end of the fourth Day, around 4000 years after Adam, at the turn from the fourth to the fifth GOD's Day, Day of 1000 years each. JESUS said: My Father works hitherto, I work-John 5:17 and 10:30. This heavenly place, or 2nd heaven, it lasted around 2000 years-John 2:19 combined with Hebrews 1:1-3.

- the 3rd heavenly place in Christ, the 3rd heaven, by the Word of GOD it will be established from now on, even in this seventh and last GOD's Day, or seventh and last millennium. In the 2Corinthians 12:1-3 there is something of the scenario of the 3rd heaven, and Luke 20:35-36 combined with Revelation 11:15-18, among other biblical references, they give us a vision of the 3rd heaven, which will last only 1000 years. After this, in the END of this millennium, will be established by the Word of GOD the heaven of the heavens.

Revelation 19:8-9
8 And to her -to the Church- was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of GOD.
Amen.

Be prepared or else get ready ->(Revelation 16:15).

Yes, "Scripture states that Christ will return on the last day". The sister of Lazarus, Martha, said to JESUS: I know that my brother shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day-John 11:24. The last Day is the Lord's Day, the seventh and last Day or seventh and last millennium. The return of our Lord JESUS will be in one specific day within this last millennium, it is impossible to know what man day of 24hr it will be, of course, but I am sure that it will be in the day 1335, Yeah, day 1335, the Ineffable, Wonderful, Indescribable, Unspeakable day, the day 1.335. Hallelujaaah!!!. But it is imposible to know NOW what day and month of the Calendar it will be, of course.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-16
15 For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel(Daniel 12:1-3 combined with Revelation 12:7-12, and with the trump of GOD(Revelation 11:15): and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

I do not believe in a pretrib rapture of the church nor a seven year tribulation period. I will go even further to say I do not even believe in a literal 1000 year millennium, but that it is only symbolic like many things we find in the book of Revelation.
You bring up an interesting discussion but you are not comparing apples with oranges. Millennium means 1,000. The very first letter in the Hebrew alphabet represents 1,000. The Hebrew letter associated with 1,000 is Aleph (א). David was king 1,000 years before Jesus. Adam and Eve lived 6,000 years ago. The church age has been 2,000 years.

When we compare this with the rapure and the tribulation we do not even have literal scripture, we are going from symbolism and what we think the Bible is telling us. I do not know how we go from the church age to the kingdom age. I do take issue with the left behind story people tell. We are all raptured out when we die. No one takes their body with them that we are aware of. Everyone seems to leave their body behind. Although we are told there will be a resurrection and a New Heaven and a New Earth.

I have done the math two or three times on Daniel to see how they come up with the results they do. But we do not even know if the dates we use are accurate. We have to assume they are. As for Daniel’s timeline, scholars have debated the accuracy of historical dates used to interpret prophecy. The 69th and 70th weeks of Daniel 9 are often linked to end-times events, but the exact calculations depend on assumptions about ancient calendars and historical records.
