Fantastic band! I'd recomend this to anyone young or old.

They have a link to myspace (I don't have a myspace account so I can't check it out)

I liked "when you call" the best.. They were pretty good, it seems like i've heard of them before somewhere.

I would still love to see Bob Seger do a christian CD in his original style. 8-)

Well, I'm not a big fan of Bob Seger. He was in Detroit singing the National Anthem recently and it was pretty rough...
Anyway, I live in an itsy bitsy town about 70 miles north of Downtown Detroit and we have a little Mom and Pop market and I guess Bob stopped in for a snack. The town was buzzing for days after that. 8-)

As far as DayStar goes, Ian had a few other bands and he's done some light touring, but I think he's pretty much stayed around the NE. He leads worship a lot at Kinsington Church ( http://www.kensingtonchurch.org/ )now but did a lot at the Rochester Church of Christ in Rochester Mi.

I think he's got what it takes to go National. What do you think?

I can't believe Bob seger would even agree to sing something as full of vocal range as the national anthem. :o
That could be a career killer for the old rocker! :-D
He would have to use his own style and make that anthem his own, in order for it to work for him.

About DayStar...I think they have the vocal skills and musical talent to make a go of it. In my 'opinion' what makes or breaks a band is you've gotta have a unique vocal and musical style thats all yours for people to connect with, you can't sound like a thousand other bands out there. That will usually tell the tale. (just my unspiritual opinion. I also have a spiritual one. ;-) )

Thanks for the link Prox! I'll check them out :D
