The God delusion was not all that great, after i read it it smeared gelled napalm on it and lit it up last week.
The God Delusion wasn't my favorite book, either (Sam Harris is more up my alley), but it certainly held more accurate factual information about the world than the Bible. There isn't a shred of wisdom in the Bible so great as to indicate a divine inspiration. It strikes me as odd that God would author a book, and then create Dostoevsky, whose writing was, to say the least, far beyond the realm of the work of the Almighty.

How did that have to do with anything you quoted?

Give me census type results on your claim. The Gap theory is debunked.

I live in the US and find it disturbing that so many people don't believe in evolution here, but it's particularly Southern, Republican, Christians that seem to be at the forefront of the anti-evolution stance. Only in Turkey is evolution less accepted than the US in Western countries. In the rest of the Western world, the number of people who don't believe evolution is quite small. For example, in countries like Denmark, Sweden, and France over 80% of the people accept evolution.
