Did God originally want women to work?

Im sure i read something last night in the OT that whoever it was had a women slave and god approved and knew. slave = worker. Who was it?. It was a women who had a women slave. God said something like " take your slave and do this or something or someone gave the slave back to her or something". Cant remember. But a women had a women slave and God was ok with it.

Dont quote me on this because i find everything so complicated to understand so im probably wrong.
Sounds to me like you may have been reading about Abraham's wife. She had a slave girl and God said something like that then. It's okay to not remember exactly, even if it wasn't the same part of the bible, we know what you mean. It's okay for women to work. I agree.

actually it was both.

women tilled the field as well in isreal.

Very strange world we live in. I have always suspected that it used to be a good feeling for a woman to birth a child, but not after the fall when it was said in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children...and it became painful for them. ?
I think so, and if I follow the "flavor" of what you're saying we can also recall that the pain is immediately forgotten as she is overwhelmed by Joy. I can't help but think about the lesson we learn as we consider the "travail" of the woman in the end times. Who is the woman there? Blessed thought. Thank you.
