Although I agree on a fart being poorly worded I wonder in what way a fart would be considered as a message....Yes....this is a poorly worded message.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but it doesn't happen very often. This is the price you pay to serve God in a church. Since I'm paid staff they expect me to be more perfect and more reliable then the engineers that run the major professional concerts and events for a tiny fraction of the pay. Other than the pastor (who understands) very few care that I never get a chance to worship. They don't even think about it. God does though, and that's what's important to me and probably to you too. But hey, it's not just against me or you! Read some of the opinions by some people in the threads about church staff right here on CF.NET and you can see what we all have to deal with. :-(Obadiah...I really hope you find other ways of worshipping Him. Though I think your work counts as worship in God's book. But you need some kind of worship for yourself, to recreate and refill yourself if you know what I mean.
And Kiwidan was the only one brave enough to post what we all were thinking.a fart
I wasn't thinking that :neutralAnd Kiwidan was the only one brave enough to post what we all were thinking.![]()
Ok, fixed it.I wasn't thinking that :neutral
Ya,you are trying to make me out to be miss perfect?Well,I am not.Ok, fixed it.![]()
when I was single, I was never distracted by the opposite sex.:biggrinI wasn't thinking of that either.
In the dirty part of my mind I was thinking more like, I would be distracted by a hot guy I never seen before sitting in my church without female company and with no ring on his finger. I would spend the entire sermon going over all christian pick up lines I ever heard.
"Dude you look so unblemished I would sacrifice you!"
You were distracted by the same sex??!? :shockwhen I was single, I was never distracted by the opposite sex.:biggrin
lol only if he was a german formerly named claudyaYou were distracted by the same sex??!? :shock
TMIDon't people try to hold or suppress it...or maybe sneak outside to launch the bomb?
When my kids were little the Church used to have a crying room. That was a good place to sit with a fussy baby.Maybe some are being kind of cheated:
1. Those taking care of the children - they either miss the entire message or don't come at ball
2. The media people. You need to pay attention to the recording
3. Keyboardist - you are playing background music
4. Ushers - receiving people
5. Your devices - you go online
6. Taking notes during messages can also distract you
7. Cute opposite sex
8. Body odour from someone
9. Members of your own group - my choir people talk a lot
10. Where-toes from here - where do I go?
11. Pictorial views in your mind or comparisons of what the preacher mentioned a while ago.
12. Yourself
13. Goooooooooooal ;-) ;)
14. Shouting pastor or the very silent type. You can still make any of the two better
Etc
Yes.They had audio there? Crying babies are a big problem
If you sneak outside make sure you're not accidentally standing by an outside air intake for the ventilation system or you will create a distraction for those still inside. Yes, this is something I have learned.Don't people try to hold or suppress it...or maybe sneak outside to launch the bomb?
