Whenever I hear a Christian say to someone, "Jesus loves you", it bothers me. First of all, I don't believe Jesus loves everybody. I believe He WANTS to love everybody but that doesn't mean He DOES love everybody. To me, when Christians say this, they are giving the impression that God will save them because He "loves" them. There is no need to give yourself to Him. Why? He already loves me, so why bother? Sometimes I see signs in front of a church with big letters "Jesus Loves You". I feel like going in there and telling them Jesus does NOT love everybody and to stop saying that.
And for those who want to argue with me about this, think about it this way. Would Jesus send someone He loves to Hell? And, who exactly is going to Hell?
