Eaten Alive

US, east coast. It was super cool. I wish I had had a camera at the time.

The state park used to have little baby snakes. They used to have nature classes, and they'd led you hold the snakes. But they're too big to be held by anyone not trained now.
I bet those classes were interesting.

We have a reptile zoo here, they bring all sorts to the schools. I had my picture taken with an albino boa constrictor on my shoulders. It was about 5 ft long. They also have black mambas, I remember there mouths were like a black dark tunnel, never to return. lol

My daughter loved snakes.A guy came to her school and was in an assembly. He had all kind of reptiles. He had this huge snake. He asked all the kids who would like to wrap the snake around their shoulders. All the kids stepped back except my daughter.I still have the picture the school took of her.
Ha

I just posted about a guy who came to our school. We call him the reptile man. I wonder if it's the same guy??? Do you live on the west coast?

I think years ago, a pet store came to my school and showed us some of their animals. I remember they had a boa constrictor, and some other exotic pets.

This snake my daughter had wrapped around her was yellow.

Never. I wouldn't even eat a snake with your mouth.
I am sorry but flew over me.

They all asked her why she was not afraid. She said, afraid? I'm hungry. Have you ever seen my mom's cooking?

I meant to quote your post Kathi - about how snakes taste like chicken:

Don't they say that about every kind of meat no one has tasted? It's a way to get you to eat it. LOL They told me that about shark, and shark is disgusting. It tastes more like fish. :lol

That's what Kathie has to say about her chicken just to get people to eat it.

Go figure.

The most "out there" meat I've had was goose, and that isn't very out there. It tastes like chicken, but is very greasy.
