:toofunnyso you would be happy when they burn you alive?

or when they cut your flesh? i watched a christian man beg for his life live on al-jazerra.

he died for the lord.

yes but you asumme that maturity comes by sinning less when its not i suggest reading the epistles of peter. where its says it comes by trials.

theres more to the walk then stop sinning. trusting in times of sorrow and when we do right is also needed and required.

i knew men who have lost their spouses and kids and got mad with god and remain faithful and still serve the lord.

serving the lord isnt meant to be bed of roses. we are called to crucify the flesh but we will suffer in that process and sometimes in our living right we will suffer

paul died for his walk.

all the apostles were tortured etc.

Yes, repenting of sin, I suppose, is just the beginning, though some of us struggle just to repent of our sin.

Serving the Lord requires effort. Still:

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matt 11:30 RSV

Paul died the death of a martyr. No one wants to die early, but what more honorable way to go?

lol.so when you have lost your son and daughter and prayed for them to come to the lord and they die in sin. where is that so easy.

he was talking about being burden with sin and guilt not suffering and carrying through the pain.

i know men that have cried tears of pain and said its worth it but you can see the hurt.

here is a song that i asked for years when i came to the lord to heal me from. listen to what it says. you wont understand why i ask him that but i do.

funny, god told me i had ptsd, and he was right i did. he didnt take it when he revealed it. he did after a three year period.

its not over for me. i am not healed of the effects of it all. he knows but he hasnt taken all the damage from me. his ways not mine. im a peace with that.

The Lord shows the way. It’s up to us to follow directions.

i havent lost any kids., my wife did and she wasnt with me at that time.

i will talk about old rebecca moore that was poor and died one day and was found by friend in her bed with arms folded in prayer. they said yes she is in heaven but it hurts. i agree, she had a faith like none other and soft and loving spirit. god needed her more then we died. i thank god for her, but i do miss her at times and come jan 5 it will be nine years. she encouraged me to follow what job that the lord gave me vocationally and had never a bad word to say.

yet i miss her from time to time. i cant imagine the pain her mother felt.
