Favorite tea

Radom, light hearted question for everybody. I'm more a coffee person myself, but now that its getting chilly in the Bible Belt, I may have to go get some tea. Not to sound pretentious, but I'm a big fan of Rooibos (red tea), especially when its flavored with vanilla. Its caffeine free and less irritating to the stomach than green or black teas.

tea isn't caffeine free. the tea plant has caffeine in it. its a reduce amount of caffeine. I like green tea or earl grey

:lol I think ya got it backwards Brother. Here we drink iced sweet tea when it's warm (or hot!) and coffee when it starts getting chilly. Unless you are one of the retired farmers here. They sit down at the café and drink coffee 24/7 365 days a year.
Edited to add: sorry Brother. I forgot to answer the question. Sweet tea.

mmmm....sweet tea. What a wonderful southern tradition. I've taken to buying gallon jugs of Arizona sweetened green tea. Its less jittery-making (when you drink a lot of it like I do) than ice black tea.

I'm a coffee man, the only tea I drink is chamomile, and then only occasionally.

Please, no sugar...in either coffee or tea.

For my caffeeine addiction I stick with coffee. But I love herbal tea, spice tea, or mixed herbal/ fruit tea.
I used to love Rooibos, too, but after having too much of it over the years - beware, pun incoming! - it's not my cup of tea any more.

Depends. Rooibos, herbal and fruit tea is caffeine free.
Some sorts of tea contain even more caffeine than coffee, like tea based on guarana or maté. :eek

Tea person here....

yeah, rooibos is from some south African shrub or something. Its interesting, because they're using it for skincare and things like that now, which is making rooibos a real money maker.
