George Floyd and the Liberal Lynch Mob

Jesus loves everyone in my opinion. I believe he loved Judas and forgave him. He loved the poor and the rich. He loved the sinner. He loves criminals. He loved me before I ever even aknowledged him. He is our model. And, for what it is worth, he did not discriminator against women. Mary Magdalene and Mary, sister of Martha, were his followers too. But I digress.
he knows the numbers of hairs on our head. which has always impressed me.

There would be different outrage if the victim was Trump. Sorry i have to use that example. Imagine a policeman with his knee on Trump's neck for 9 minutes. Do you think we would be looking for excuses for the policeman's error of judgement? No there would be widespread condemnation.
But Trump is just another human being like Floyd. Or is Trump's life more valuable than a penniless drug addict?
Never implied that .

Look I,grapple as a hobby ,I,have passed out from,a choke ,it's not nor I have heard anyone chocking for 10,minutes while saying I can't breathe .its face turns red, eyes roll, then the snore.
This is from, one who has grappled with bad asthma days where I have asked guys to dismount me because they pressed on,my,lungs .in,bjj, mms you apply, weight on,the chest to control ,to restrict breathing and its done to make it harder to escape ,to create the panic push and back turn so,that an actual punch, choke, arm bar can be applied ,trust me having 200 one or more or even a light weight will cause one to panic if you aren't used to it.

It isn't a choke ,but that restriction will make you think you,are looking air,and in part it is.you learn to evade that and to control the panic ,but that's a thread by itself

Imagine if I was being mounted and had the guy on me,in,the middle of an,attack,I feel the phelm being forced up to,my,throat and must cough,I tap rather then spit the mucus on them.the shihan knows that and I,tell him,its just the asthma .so if its bad I must swallow that or cough it out ,if the cough fits start then comes the like session, never got that from bjj.mostly allergies,or a trigger and once from a tickle .
Mucus plugs are daily for me.so yes I do have a unique understanding imho

ugh. the riots. talking to my parents (late, late boomers) about 1968...scary year for America, especially for kids, like my parents were then. -eek- so, I got to thinking about it, and...

things are probably worse, now. the economy has been bad for lots of people, for a long time...and nobody, 'left' or 'right'....cared to do much about it. and now...we have the current President, who seems to be making the situation worse.

1968 -- the year cnn kept comparing now, today's problems, to-- seems rough, but I think there was more...cohesion? families, communities, the US society...not one big campfire sing a long, but I think more in common than...now.

the rioters are ridiculous. who's paying people to travel and cause trouble, anyway? a lot of those who get arrested in the more violent/lawless spots are not from that area. a lot of the peaceful protesters just want to be heard, and they don't want violence, either.

i dunno. i got to thinking...im left wing, i suppose...1 thing: the constitution is supposed to help protect the individual from the '...tyranny of the masses.' how are any of these officers going to get anything remotely resembling a fair deal, fair trial here? facing criminal charges is always rough...the prosecutor represents the -state- , and has the full force of the -state- behind him or her. add in all this, and...whoa. good luck with that, y'all.

The victim received no protection from governmental representatives(cops). The extreme right has no more regard for the constitution than the extreme left. Both sides have devolved into a "hooray for our side" mentality. Both sides abandon reason and entrench themselves further and further away from any chance to find common ground within the parameters laid out by our fore fathers.
The unreasonable "reasoning" used to arrive at the copmafia being innocent is astounding as I'm sure the left's reasoning that the victim was "innocent". This thread exposes those who have one foot in the World while having the other foot in the Kingdom. I can't imagine a missionary coming back from being in service to the Lord's work saying things like have been said here. I could imagine them dropping to their knees and crying out to our God to bring this nation to repentance before it's too late. Both sides of this political/racist/social extreme divide need to spiritually wake up.

The policemen had 18 complaints of excessive violence against him. So this is not an isolated incident. All of the victims in the 18 complaints were black. Just do the math. He should have been fired before this happened. The fact that he wasn't fired is the problem

You say these police have no chance of getting a fair trial. I'm sorry but that's wrong. If you look at the statistics the policeman almost always get acquitted. Just like Rodney King's persecutors were let go. They will get more than a fair trial. Juries are biased in favor of police . The fact that they know they will be acquitted is one of the reasons they still do this.

Rogue cops. Just like rogue Catholic pedophile priests. Maybe there are similarities . A culture of turning a blind eye to colleague's bad behaviour. Solidarity no matter what.

Nobody will answer my question. Why is this procedure enacted on George legal. They could have detained him standing up. There were four of them

Back to my son Karl. He pulled up to the house after an incident on the freeway. Two men got out of their car and started to beat him up. I went down and stood between him and the men who were beating him. They were shorter than he was and they were trying really hard to get him on the ground so they could kick him. There is no reason to force George to the ground unless you want to hurt him. He was handcuffed for God's sake. What was he going to do by him.

I thought you all might be curious about what happened to Karl. By standing between him I think I saved his life. The men ran off. They came back and fired gunshots into my apartment. I was sitting there and the bullets missed me by a few inches. As I said before God tends to take care of me. The neighbors called the police. My son identified them as people he knew in the neighborhood. They arrested the one who was on parole. The one who fired the shots they let go. Just another day in the life of living in a poor neighborhood in Berkeley California

The knee on the neck was also police training? what!!

According to the Wikipedia article titled ,"Death of George Floyd", and other sources, the police dept trained officers to use a knee on the neck. And, it remains an approved tactic. The same article also points to autopsy results showing the knee was not the cause of death.

From an USAToday article:
The way a Minneapolis police officer restrained George Floyd before he died — placing his knee on Floyd's neck while the man lay on his stomach — is widely discredited by law enforcement experts because it can cause suffocation.

But the technique is allowed in Minneapolis.

of course somebody got to Wikipedia first and made sure history will be written like this. imo it's fiction making to protect authorities but I have been wrong before.
Once ...in the summer of 69 ....

Are you serious. Really. Even if he died of a heart attack or stress. He would not be dead if the officer had not pushed him on the ground. They could have arrested him standing up. I'm starting to get frustrated

I have read 10 different versions of what happened. They all agree on one thing. All of this was about a pack of cigarettes.

I have been watching the police arrest people all day. The black people they throw to the ground. The white people they handcuff and take to the squad car. There has got to be some problem with this

Not always the case .

You can use certain methods somewhere and not somewhere else .

The army .can, use no cs gas,oc spray in,Germany but can use it stateside .and outside of Germany

Dear Turtel: You are still missing the point. George resisted because he was terrified. Police are known for being violent with black people. This was all about cigarettes therefore an over reaction. Whatever the autopsy says about how he died, he would not have died if he had been released when he cried out for his dead mother.

It started with Floyd's counterfeiting, theft, and public intoxication. It looks like to me that police did everything by the book, including the knee to the neck after Floyd twice resisted arrest (once after he was in handcuffs). Any cop in any part of the country will attempt to physically restrain you if you resist arrest (just usually not with a knee, but with the cop's own weight if you're big).

We have to wait for the full autopsy results to know how he died, but it wasn't the knee on the neck. A police affidavit offers that he died of a combination of intoxication, underlying health issues, and from being restrained (but, not the knee on the neck). The restraint contributing to his death doesn't make the restraint unlawful. It's an unfortunate trifecta of stress upon his body, but he forced the hand of the police.

The media spreading lies about the details only inflames people's fear of the police and rioting. Yes, Floyd would still be alive if not for the encounter with the police, but Floyd wasn't murdered. No jury is going to convict the cop of murder. And, after the acquittal, we'll hear nonsense about how the justice system is rigged in favor of cops as more riots flair up across the country.

Do you know who Tony Timpa is? Google his name if you don't know, and you'll figure out why you don't know his name but you know Floyd's name.
