I just want to know how else "Do not ... put tattoo marks on yourselves." is supposed to be interpreted. It seems pretty clear cut to me. I can't see how my belief or non-belief in God can change the meaning of that sentence.
Maku asked what verse of scripture she should get as a tattoo. I gave her Leviticus 19:28 as one to investigate whether she would want one or not. I wouldn't get a tattoo now, but as a non-Christian I would not have gotten one either. Many of my friends have tattoos, and most of them regret getting one. I suppose when one gets a little more mature they see the positives and negatives a little clearer. What do you think?
Thanks for clearing up what you wanted.
