the jj abram's filmed sucked. when the enterprise ncc 1701 was first commissioned. uhura, et all weren't born. only kirk was a teen and saw her at aged 16. they screwed that time line up.
bleah.

when kirk took command of the enterprise. spock was already aboard as first officer and had some years in. he was a hundred in that series. the enterprise commanders went from Robert April,Christopher Pike, then Kirk. when he first saw it didn't have warp drive.
