Abram/Abraham was not technically a Jew, but was a Hebrew.
Gen 14:13 - And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.
To be a Jew he would have had to claim descent from his great grandson Judah, which is not possible. However he could theoretically be considered a Christian, because:
Jhn 8:58 - Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
